FROGG TOGGS Unisex-Adult Co-Pilot Insulated Puff Jacket

I mainly bought this to zip into my Frogg Toggs Pilot Pro jacket. I ordered a size medium even though I usually wear large, Frogg Toggs seems to run a bit big usually. The jacket fits good but the sizing is a little strange. The belly area is a bit loose, and the arms are about 2” too short. It will work for me though. Being short, the sleeves automatically ride up my arm when I reach out so they won’t get wet when I reach into the water to land a fish (if I’m wearing this by itself, and not zipped into the Pilot Pro jacket). I don’t believe this should be a $90 jacket though, comparing to some other $100 jackets I own. I think $50 would have been a better price for this. I’ll still keep it though.

Got it today. Runs maybe a little larger than I thought. Material is a little rough, definitely not like an average street wear puffy coat. I don't know if it's any tougher or stronger material verses nature hazards. Right away I got the impression it wasn't the best quality materials. But what do I care... It's a liner, and water resistant unlike the average puffer coat and it's cool because it has a different camo pattern and it's reversible. Then I noticed it seemed like the quality control was a little lacking. There was some of the same cheap polyester stuffing like my dog pulls out of a dog toy sticking out of the sleeve stitches on the cuff. Ok. Who cares. It's a liner. I still want to improve the weather range of my very cool Frogg Toggs Pilot II camo rain coat = 5 stars! Kicks butt. So I decided to pair them up and zip in the liver... Zip... Right up to the top, and the zipper came up and smoothly came right off the top like there was no zipper stop. And it won't go back on. Now it's busted before I even zipped it into the rain coat for the first time. I'll ship it back to Frogg Toggs since there's a 2 year warranty and Frogg Toggs is bragging all about how good their American USA built quality is and how seriously they take their warranty. Still.. There's two quality issues right out of the gate. Hopefully they'll check the new one out really well before sending me another one back. Hate dealing with that mess. None of my other coats liners fit the rain jacket. And the quality and camo on the rain coat seem outstanding. Hope you have better luck with yours fellas. Cya!

Perfect for layering under my wind & rain coat. Great by itself since it’s a reversal javkrt Camo on one side, black on the other.

It’s what I expected a thin down type jacket, by itself on a very cold day not enough, if your standing or sitting still for a extended period of time. But I bought it for a layer under my raincoat for duck hunting. Works perfect for that.

This is a good quality jacket. The description, "The Co-Pilot Jacket zips into all Frogg Toggs men’s Pilot jackets" is incorrect. This is not compatible with the Pilot III Jacket. Keeping the puffy jacket but will need to return the Pilot III. Wanted the extra capability.

This jacket is designed to zip insid my rain gear making me dry and warm!

Comfortable and warm, just don't like zipper pocket design, they constantly get snagged.. Up and down.

Packs well. Sleeves a little short for me. Works great under my wading jacket.

I ordered this to insulate my frogg toggs pilot II jacket. At first glance I thought it seemed rather thin for the price... After installing it into the jacket, it's actually quite warm. I wouldn't recommend buying it to use solo, but paired up with the jacket I definitely recommend. Makes a rain jacket into a winter jacket.
