Love it
Works great. Cut off the original power wire close to unit and spliced in 4 guage wire. Needed a $40 vacuum hose from a local HVAC store and a vacuum pump rented for free from O'Reillys. I also used a valve from Amazon to depress the core and make sure vacuum was held when removing the hose but that wasn't really necessary. Fittings are 1/4" so the manifold set from O'Reillys didn't work and that's why I needed the $40 hvac hose. The vacuum pump has a spot for the smaller size hose as well. I used Nylog Blue to seal all connections. It's a good idea to insulate the entire low pressure/large hose even though the instructions say you only need to do the first couple of feet. You only need to vacuum one side as as they are both connected. Instructions and manual could be much better with very little effort. It was a big challenge figuring all this out so I hope it helps someone else. Love that you can turn the display light on or off. The remote works great. I pretty much just use "strong" as high and "sleep" as low. These modes use about 600-700 watts (strong) and 250-300 watts (sleep). Inside unit is very quiet and easily adjustable by hand, I sleep great with it on.

Literally can't be installed, Seller does not respond to returns.
The wiring is shorter than the hoses. And has male pins on both sides so they can't actually be plugged in. Colors are also different. Will ask seller for a solution otherwise will just return it.Update, never received the part that I was missing, it was delivered to another state. I requested a refund, it cost me over $150 to return the item, plus the nearly $100 to customs to receive it in the first place. So far I am out about $1300 and every time I contact amazon they say they will respond within 24-48hr or 3 days or 7 days. The case has been ongoing for over a month.Credit card chargeback won't even refund me any of the other fees.

System improved from the 1st Gen I previously installed. Still has issues
The media could not be loaded. Having installed a 1st Generation of this system from this same vendor, I can say that the metal housing for the outside unit, as well as how the components are all better assembled with this version.Like always, no instructions on how to install, just some basics on how it works. They still are using the same gauge wiring, that from previous experience, would feel a bit warm and had to swap it out for 6AWG pure copper wire and lugs. The 4 wire harness and the original main power line was 7 feet short than the what the pressure hoses are and had to as well add that 7 feet to the 4-wire harness going to the inside air handler from the outside half (compressor and control module) of the system. The system did indeed come pre-charged with R134a refrigerant, just know you will need a long hex wrench to open that up after vacuum testing the system. This system is so far performing as expected and is putting out cold air as seen in the photos with my digital thermometer. Average power draw at full cooling is around 60amps and like the previous system I had, the amp draw is reduced once the set temperature is achieved with the scroll compressor this operates on.These systems have proven useful to me when on the road with the camper and would do a layover in a rest area or truck stop to nap, where I don't have to break out a generator to get comfortable if it's hot outside. It as well keeps my dogs cool without needing to run a generator, when we stop for meal breaks on the road, where this runs off a 920ah battery bank and can go for well over 12 hrs based on the amp draw. It's not the answer to everything, but fulfills it's purpose in the times when it's not practical to run a generator or there is no shore power available for the 120vac rooftop a/c.

Very happy with this air conditioner
Love this air conditioner, puts out ice cold air. It actually works 10x better than the expensive name brand mini splits in my house. The only issue I have is when parked on severe angles, it doesn’t tilt towards the drain so it will leak water. This is just how all mini splits are, mounted in a house you install it titled so it drains, in a vehicle application it is constantly at different angles so you cant adjust for this at install. A drain on both ends of the blower housing would fix this problem

Leaks Freon, didn’t work
Installation was straightforward but when I went to release the Freon, I was unable to pull a vacuum. Used a little Freon and quickly found the leak with a Freon sniffer. When the unit was assembled, a loose screw must have been left in the housing and it poked a perfect little hole in the interior coil. See photo.I know full well this a cheap Chinese unit, but I was hoping for at lease a few quality cool downs.I will update if my HVAC repairman friend is able to solder the hole.

Junk don’t waist your money
I give it 0 stars. I only selected 1 star because you cannot submit the rewview without selecting one. What a piece of junk. As another customer stated very little documentation and no instructions. I cannot get mine to put out cooler air than 69 degrees. It trips my breaker randomly and just shuts off randomly at other times. Don’t waist your money on this junk. I purchased mine in July of 2024 and didn’t get it installed until November 2024 and now that its getting hot and I need it, its not working.

Works well. Very little documentation.
Was easy to install and works well. But I don't know what the mode settings are. Options are Fan, CFT, BP, EC, and VVS. It seems like BP changes the fan speed once it reaches temperature. Not sure what the other modes do, not included in any documentation that came with unit.
