Shorter and easier to handle than the taller types of these fold out, joint style tents. The main body fly is already attached when you fold it out, so it's basically two connected layers separated by an air space. It looks like you can remove the interior part and use the fly/shelter part alone also. I'm not sure if you can use just the interior tent portion by itself (no fly), but for my use, that's ok. And if I had to choose, I'd prefer the way it comes out of the box (one piece, already set up for rain). The vestibule comes with a small, attachable, slightly bucket shaped ground tarp. The quality seems good for my needs (overnight car camp use driving between destinations and use at wet weather destinations). Seems like it will be good for that. Have it set up on the porch. I really like the smart design of the dual layer and the vestibule. I got the green/grey one pictured. Note - another reviewer seems to have added vestibule poles. I might add those myself but in rain, I don't think you'd use them in order to keep the porch area dry. So far I recommend this tent.

Great little tent. Very easy set up, held up to strong coastal Maine winds and kept nice & dry during my last camping trip. Quite spacious too easily fit my sleeping cot..all in all very happy with my NightCat.

Information was easy to find and made choosing the best tent for me 🙂. Everything looks good and delivery was ahead of time and delivered to correct apartment 👍. I haven't tried it yet but I will write a review when I do ⛺😀. So far everything has been a pleasure 🙂.

I had trouble at first figuring out the vestibule (front porch) but now think this is one of the best features. The tent fly looks tiny until you realize it is a second fly to cover the connection to the pop up mechanisms. This has a connected inner, almost all mesh, a full length attached fly and the tiny fly. If you are putting this up in the rain the inside stays dry. This is now my go to tent for rainy conditions. I admit that I was unsure about how it would handle wind ….but it did better than some much more expensive tents. It’s a little big and bulky because of the popup structure but it’s great for car camping. The vestibule is very spacious and will accommodate a small chair. Room to get wet gear off before entering the tent. I love this tent.

This is a great tent for car camping. I would not recommend for backpacking as it is too heavy to lug around on your back. It is very easy to set up as you do not have to feed poles through the holes (except for the porch section) as you do on normal tents. It’s got a popup feature which makes for quick setup. I got the 2-3 person size but it’s more for 2 if you want to be comfortable. Haven’t been out in the rain with this tent yet but it claims to be waterproof. Overall this is a decent tent for the price.

Not sure this would hold 3 people, but it's a nice light easy to put up 2 person tent. Inside stayed dry during a few rain showers. All in all happy with the item.

This tent was very easy to put together. It’s on the smaller end and is for 2-3 people. Realistically it’s more like a 1-person tent with some space for possessions. Cool during the day and keeps heat in at night. Love the pretty blue color too. Recommended

Basically throw and go, just have to snap legs into locking position and unfold them no more attaching poles and all that madness.
