Great chair
First of all, it's a camp chair that with a leg rest. Not a bed or a recliner for your house lol. It operates like a camp chair. It's super light compared to the zero gravity chairs we used to take camping. Easy to carry and pretty comfortable. The 6 legs make it very sturdy. And yes, the easiest way to stand up is a kayak exit. Just open your legs, put them on the ground and stand. Or you can turn and stand on one side or the other, not rocket science. So to recline, the biggest complaint I read before I bought it. Sit in the chair, reach back with both arms and push on the posts, that's the easiest way. Or just get behind it and lift up then slide down. They even emailed me instructions after I bought it. I didn't request them or need them. It was nice of them though. If you've spend time with camping gear you'll be fine. I'm buying a second because mine keeps being stolen by my wife. Buy the chair, it's fine.

Overall Great chair!
Overall GREAT chair. We bought this chair for an outdoor all day event. I couldn’t be happier with the chair. It’s super light, which made it super easy for me to carry it to and from multiple spots throughout the day. It’s comfortable and allowed either just myself to sit or my husband and I to rest our legs simultaneously. It’s easy to set up as well. I highly recommend this camp chair if you need a chair and want the ability to kick up your feet!

Comfy, Easy, Lasted for maybe 1400 hours of use
We bought this chair for a disabled, average-sized female to use as a spare bed. She loved it and used it constantly, with four inches of gel foam mattress padding, 24-7.It was simple to set up — just open it, lift the backrest bars, and slide them out to almost-flat. It didn’t recline partway, only straight upright or almost-flat, which was disappointing, but maybe we misunderstood the images in the ad. The seller even tried looking for clips to hold it partway reclined, but couldn’t find any, so we made do with a bed wedge pillow. The chair was long enough that only her heels hung over the edge, the included little pillow was lumpy but still made a good ankle-rest, the width was wide enough for average hips, and the backrest was high-long enough for a real pillow, plus the bed wedge. The fabric was sturdy and only started sagging after a couple weeks of constant use, but it was only a little stretched, still fine. The seams held up perfectly. The footrest was sturdy enough to sit on like a stool. The arms were strong, fine for long spells of leaning-on. The little bag on the side was way smaller than we thought, and it could hold a map, phone, or sunglasses, but not a tablet. The cupholder wasn’t used. The legs were aluminum and seemed a little thinner than what we expected, but held her average weight fine while they lasted. The plastic joints and the plastic rings that slid up and down the rods were strong enough to hold her constant use with just some creaking. The legs looked weird, like two sets of left legs, but they were strong enough. The feet had slots for three legs, not two, but this was made with two legs per foot and they held up fine. The chair was easy to fold up and move around, then reopen to almost-flat again. The chair was really sturdy for the price, and it lasted for a total of three months of almost-constant use, with a week off here and there. That means about 1400 hours of gentle but almost constant use. Then, the screw connecting the X-legs under her hips broke in half when she sat down gently, and the chair wasn’t safe to use anymore. It was a blessing. We are thankful for the chair and for the seller’s kindness. If we could get one with sturdier screws and a backrest that reclined partway, we would snap it up. It was that comfortable and easy to use. But we need something stronger and longer-lasting for her constant use, so we have to move on. Thank you, Apollo Walker.

Love these
Bought two to take camping, and we were shocked at how well these are made. They are extremely comfortable, sturdy, and easy to put up and take back down. The best deal you’re going to find on chairs like these for sure

Recline problem solved
I almost returned this chair because it did not want to recline, but after some time playing around with it I realized that u need to bring the hand rest down and that's when it actually reclines. So far the chair is great

Doesn’t recline
Doesn’t recline. Read the instructions which consist of a little photo on the tag of the chair, but the slide bar it says to make sure is up when unfolding just slides right back down when you unfold the seat it doesn’t stay and the chair can’t unfold all the way with it up. Once you unfold it all the way or sit down it slides right back down and the seat is upright. It’s very uncomfortable sitting straight up too. If you’re wanting an easy reclining chair, don’t get this one which is the reason I bought it.

Doesn’t recline!
Comfortable chair but it doesn’t recline. I read the instructions as indicated but I couldn’t place the chair in the decline position. I then asked someone younger to read the instructions because I thought due to my age I was doing something wrong. However, they too were unable to place the chair in the “decline” position. I would not purchase this chair again!
