Osteo-Pet BOGO Total Joint Care Formula with Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM and Boswellia Extract

At first my dog didn't take to the new smell, now she wants to take them. Before, she was on Cosequin supplement, but they stopped putting Boswellia in it. This seems to help her, therefore, I am happy to have ordered it.

Our black lab/terrier mix dog, Farley, started limping off and on in August. We thought it was just a sprain. He would just about be completely better, when he would run or jump and be were back limping for days. We finally took him to the vet in October. The vet diagnosed him with a torn ligament (ACL) in his back right knee. The vet gave us a two week supply of an anti-inflammatory drug and put him on Dasuquin. He told us to limit Farley's activity to only short walks and to bring him back in two weeks. The vet was not very optimistic about this conservative approach to the problem working, and advised us that surgery might be our only option if we wanted Farley to fully recover. Then he dropped the bombshell that following the surgery Farley would have to be inactive for three to four MONTHS or the surgery could very well be unsuccessful. Really? How were we suppose to keep a 3 year old extremely active dog inactive for three to four months? We could walk him on a leash, but he would have to be crated in the house for the whole time. Farley has not been in a crate since he was housebroken a few months after we adopted him from a shelter. After much discussion, we decided that surgery was not an option for Farley. After taking the anti-inflammatory drug for two weeks with the Dasuquin, there was no improvement. Another two weeks on the Dasuquin alone, and still no improvement. I then bought the Dasuquin with MSM and gave him that for another two weeks - still nothing. In 2012 I developed a problem with my shoulder. I could not raise my arm nor could I put it behind my back. After trying many, many supplements, I tried Move Free Ultra by Schiff. In a month, I had full motion in my shoulder again. Move Free Ultra contains collagen and hyaluronic acid. I went online searching for a product for dogs which had those two ingredients. That is when I found this product. We also bought him a Back on Track leg wrap found on Amazon, although the vet said it would not help. We kept the wrap on him about ten hours a day and, per the Vet's recommendation, put him on a diet. He has lost over three pounds which is about 10% of his weight. After one month on this product, Farley has stopped limping. He is off the leash, no longer wears the wrap, and is running and jumping as usual. I am very pleased with the product, and have already ordered it for another six months.

We purchased the Osteo-Pet Professional Joint Formula to try first and it worked great for our Boxer. So after reading this other product Total Joint Care Formula we tried this and our Boxer was back to limping and not wanting to completely set the back paw down. So I went back and ordered the Professional Joint Formula and now my dog is doing good. The limping and hobbling on his rear leg stopped with what we had him on originally. Guess I should have left well enough alone. I hate to low rate this particular product and I did asked in questions the difference between the two products. It might be great for other dogs but we are very happy with the Professional Joint Formula it really helps our dog.

I have a super handsome 9 year old blue- nose pittbull, who I have had since he was 30 days old! He is my BABY!!! Now at 9, he has recently (within the last 7 months) started limping, looking like he didn't want to get up anymore, stopping constantly on walks, the list goes on. I had no clue if he had hurt himself, so I took him to the vet. At the vet it was made apparent that I officially had an old man, and the troubles I was seeing was none other than good ol' arthritis. At the time, I was prescribed Rovera (Carprofen), because he was really hurting. That definitely helped him immediately, BUT I knew that there had to be something else I could do other than giving him pain meds regularly. I started researching like a maniac. I must say thank God for reviews, I literally read over 300 hundred of them. 98% of the reviews were exactly what I was hoping to read, I became more excited after every review. I bought them, and started the 4 tablets a day as he is 102 lbs. What followed was nothing shy of what everyone had been saying. I have a new dog. I noticed the huge difference after one week! I hadn't given him one pain pill, he had energy like when he was younger, no longer wanting to lay around and sleep, he was going well past the hour walks, and at times running. I noticed other changes as well that had nothing to do with arthritis. He is ALERT! All his senses are firing when they were dulled. He eats better, sleeps better, no limping, playful, and I have seen his personality & physicality return in an awesome way. I could go on forever about how legit this product this is, but I really just want to thank NutraPaws!! I had to actually scale back his dosage, because I couldn't keep up with the pup!!

Might be a great product, but two out of three dogs refuse to eat them. I'll admit those two are picky on all food though. It can't work if they don't eat them! Maybe it needs more flavor?

I've used this for quite some time now and can tell the difference when my dogs are on it and when they're not.My one dog had to be put on Carprofen since she quit walking completely and could barely get up. That made all the difference in the world for her.Later on I added the Joint Care Formula. My vet found out I was using it & told me that Boswellia cannot be taken with Carprofen. I took her off of it till I could do more research on this matter. I soon found out that this wasn't true as Boswellia can be taken with any NSAID drug.I put her back on it and to my surprise she is running around like crazy (at least for her it's crazy.) I thought to myself if it was bad to take together why did her blood work come back so good?

It is hard to say definitively that this works, but on paper it is an excellent combo - and it does seem to improve my 7 yr Lab's chronic limp and stiffness. She does not like the taste so I hsve to crush and mix with food, so much for it being a treat.

I have been using these suplements for a while and my dog is definitely doing better. He has more energy and definitely more agility. I would say they are working very well for him.
