The description says that it's 100% polyester and some reviews says that the thread is cotton. Which is it?

I hv no idea otherwise than how they describe it, but I would go with cotton because it is very sturdy. Not cheap thread.

Yes I use it for embroidery as well. I hv the brother LB7800PRW. It’s sturdy & doesn’t pop easily.
