Where do you find these batteries? Can anyone recommend a good rechargeable poi set?

Each LED POI is powered by 3 x LR44 batteries which allow it to shine brightly for about 10 hours. The lid is on the bottom of the POI. Open the small case with a screwdriver to change the batteries, it's really easy.

Do the poi balls come with any directions on how to get started with basics, etc.?

No but YouTube has lots of beginner videos. Lots of fun
