It's an enjoyable set and took me around 8 hours to assemble. The intricacy of the detail is impressive, and overall, it was fun and rewarding to build. Recommend.

Constructing this was one of the few activities where tholdere kids & adults will all enjoy sitting and working together for a few hours - wholesome family time.Now it's been completed we can enjoy it for years - it looks absolutely magical on the bookcase and other people have asked where to buy a kit for themselves.

This is the first book nook that I’ve ordered, although I’ve seen them all over the Internet and wanted to get one for my kid for ages. I wondered whether it would be worth the money, and it does say quite clearly on one of the pics in the description that it’s a four out of five difficulty build…!I must say that it definitely isn’t simple to put together, but this is because there is so much detail in it, and I am absolutely delighted with the result!I was genuinely blown away by the quality of the material, and the detail in it, and although it is fiddly, and it did take quite a while, it was a fun project to do together, and the outcome is fantastic.The only reason I’m taking half a star off the review is that there was a tiny tool missing, which would have made things a little bit easier, although we managed to sort it out.The instructions were fairly clear, although you do have to concentrate (!) but it is very satisfying watching it come together.Hats off to whoever designed this, as it genuinely is a lovely thing, and I am really glad I bought it. I think for the quality, the fact that it’s such a nice thing to make together, and the fact that it looks so lovely, it’s definitely worth the money.
