HIGHLY RECOMMEND
My very first brush I got 6 years ago from my aunt (who used it for a year and half before she gave it to me). I used it until it finally blew out. The brush lasted in total almost 8 years with HEAVY USE (think between 4-6 times a week). The barrel even got partially crushed and still worked the last 2 years. Of course by the 6 year mark it started to have bent bristles and the barrel was crushed so it wasnt brushing my hair as nicely but it absolutely pulled its weight. This is seriously the MOST INCREDIBLE tool to get amazing volume WHILE straightening your hair WHILE drying it. It's all in one. I cant Express how much I love to use it. I have medium length blonde hair which is pretty thick. This brush manages to dry my entire head within 6-10 minutes without me parting it and drying it in segments. This wand I just purchased is my second one and I can clearly say that the second one is just as perfect quality as the first. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Sold as Jilbere but Conair!
I have used this same product for years. The most recent ones now aren’t Jilbere and burn out every year. They are now Conair brand even though the product description says Jilbere. The older ones last 5 years and one only over heated when I was traveling and used the wrong converter. The Conair aren’t long lasting.

Defective item- dangerously hot!
UPDATE: the company I bought this from treated me very fairly with a refund of the defective product and I appreciate it.This is my second time purchasing this item. The first one lasted about 4 years and I loved it. One day it just started spitting out cool air so I ordered a replacement from amazon. As soon as i started using it the barrel felt loose and it is so HOT even on low. I mean dangerously hot as in it burns to use it . It makes your skin near the hair line very red and the handle gets hot too. I always unplug it after use because it feels like it could be a fire hazard - that is how hot it is.I have notified the seller I bought it from in hopes of a replacement. I have only had this for less than 2 months. While I love the original product , I cannot recommend it until I find out if the company will send me a properly working item. I have noticed several other reviews with the same complaint . Someone is going to get injured with these defective items. Be Careful!

Best in Class
I have purchased over 5 of these, I worked for Ulta as the General Manager, I had the opportunity to try allsorts of things, I have thick curly hair....Revlon, Hot Tools Conair, all expensive brands either broke since theyare detachable and or burned out super fast within 1-2 months. This is the best one of all..I love it..It doesnt smoothout the best but if it had a larger barrel it might have....but it is wonderful overall... I wish they had it in a larger barrel.Love it anyway!

I would buy this again!
I've owned this item for more than a couple of years and I use it in addition to my T3 hairdryer about 2X/week. I have below shoulder length straight hair, but it's thick in the back and I like using this hot air brush to finish the bottom and sides. I would buy this again, and I may do just that as a back up. I also own the Conair 1 inch hot air and sometimes I use that if I want a little more curve in my hair ends. The brush can get very hot and I try not to touch it when drying my hair but sometimes I'm not careful. I'm glad I discovered the JILBERE Hot Air Brush.

GREAT!
This is the only styler I can use on my thick fuzzy hair to tame it into submission! This is the 4th one I've bought. I just cannot be without it. I only ever use it on low because it's so powerful. I love these styler/dryers !!

LOVE this little contraption
LOVE this little contraption! I dry my hair first, then "curl" it with this and my hair has volume, looks shiny, and it doesn't take me forever to style (maybe 3 minutes!). I had one for about 5-6 years and it didn't break, but I replaced it because the bristles looked a little sad and was a bit grimy...

Replicating the "straightening" that your stylist did after a Brazilian Blowout
I had a Brazilian blowout done to my hair in the past few weeks, and I was getting frustrated trying to replicate the "voluminous straightening" that my stylist had achieved with a hair dryer and a round boar bristle brush. It looked pretty frizzy. I read that a hot air brush like this would make it easier to replicate the technique, and it pretty much has! :D Some of my hair is still frizzy looking because I need to work on segmenting it into appropriate sizes before I use this hot air brush, but for the most part it worked as expected on my first try! A good size of hair to use on the brush at a time is an amount that covers an inch in depth on your scalp. My hair is pretty thick though so I found myself trying to work with too much of it at a time, leaving some of the hair still wet because it was too far away from the heat.I still use the boar bristle brush right after the hot brush to re-emphasize the style with great success. In addition, I have a finer toothed comb to pull in the fly away hair that I can't use my boar brush on and to clean the hot brush and the boar brush afterwards.I only wish that this hot brush was smaller. I think I would have an easier time engaging with my hair if that was the case because when I dry smaller segments of hair, it refuses to wrap around this brush the way I want it to so I have to press my hair against it with my hand.I've heard that this brush dies after 2 years or so, but for the style I want, it's worth it until another brush comes along.
