Motorola 2019 Moto G7 Play 32GB Android Smartphone GSM Unlocked for AT&T / T-Mobile and all GSM carriers - Deep Indigo (Blue) (Renewed)

The phone has been renewed perfectly and works exactly as the original it replaced - at a quarter of the original's cost three years ago. I have way too much tech to manage at work, and choose not to buy the "latest and greatest" new phones for my personal use. This model has more than enough features and photo quality is excellent. Using Amazon's service that refurbishes and renews used models rather than buying new ones has saved our household $2100 on cell phones in the past ten months! Thanks Amazon techs!

I have been a Motorola fan since the 90's with my first Star Tech. This phone does every thing most need from a smart phone. This phone is 2 years old now and still last a full day on one charge. I am some what anal about not charging until the phone is very low on battery to promote longer life. The only short coming of this phone is that the camera is not as good as some of the high end phones on the market right now. Other wise I doubt you could get a better phone for the money.

I used to like Motorola phones because they gave the android experience for cheap. This will be the last Motorola I buy and I can't wait for this one to die so I have an excuse to get a better phone that isn't awful. I've never had a phone crash more in my life and it's had problems and run slow right out of the box. Constant error and "this app has stopped working" messages (even for apps that aren't currently running!), grinds to a halt every time I try and open common apps like snapchat, google maps, or any app that draws over other apps (i.e. FB messenger), repetitive system notifications that won't go away, and a pop-out sim card/additional memory tray that broke and became permanently shut within just a few weeks of use. The screen is fragile, the metal casing soft and easily damaged, and most frustrating of all: plugging it into a charger causes the phone to become almost unusably slow. The operating system often crashes on startup, the fingerprint sensor takes more tries than most secure apps will tolerate to actually recognise my hand, the "Ok Google" command doesn't work, the assistant software virtually NEVER understands what I'm saying and badly slows down the phone when used, the battery life has plummeted within less than two years, it takes FOREVER to turn on, the camera is absolutely abysmal, the audio quality is poor... there's really nothing whatsoever I like or enjoy about this phone. Total E-waste. Also does not work with 5G even though it's supposed to.

I thought this product was slow and seemed like it came from 15 years ago it was smaller than I thought and just wasn't at all what I expected I wasn't happy and you know I had to delay and returning it I did get it returned and I just wasn't happy with the speed and how it was not easy to use

Motorola always makes a great product. I used to have a Moto G5 but the battery didn't last longer than a year. I've up graded to this G7. It's a great phone but just like the five, I can tell the battery will probably not last too long. The software is very fast. Photo quality isn't the greatest but it is a budget phone and good enough for the price.

I am a huge fan of Motorola phones in general. I've owned the Moto G(3), the Moto G6 Play, the Moto G7 Power, and was going to go a Moto G7 Play. After returning this phone (you'll see why), I bought a Moto G Play 2021.However, I'm on AT&T, and what I received was a T-Mobile Revvelry, a T-Mobile specific version of this phone with the suffix -6, which does not completely work under AT&T. It sorta kinda works for data and text, but it doesn't work at all for voice and is missing features such as Wifi Calling.So, my supposition is that if you buy from this listing, you might get a T-Mobile version of the phone that doesn't work on AT&T. It's also possible that they are mixing various carriers and suffixes under the same listing, and that it's just luck of the draw.I would prefer it if listings on Amazon were a specific model number and that you knew exactly what you would get before ordering. Hence I'm rating this 3 stars, not a reflection on Motorola, but on the listing and the seller.

I've only had this for one day but so far it seems perfect. I took the old and new phones to a Verizon store and they transferred everything in about 15 minutes without a hitch. Very pleased with the purchase!
