More durable than the plastic cap that came with the faucet
Faucets require periodic maintenance. The original plastic cap has had to be removed each time and inevitably its tabs break off. This chrome model is somewhat more durable and can be reused if you are careful. However the Hot-Cold markings are almost invisible.

This is a polished chrome cap - not the white. Very nice and perfect fit.

Super disappointed!
Super disappointed!!! Not as pictured. I specifically wanted the white button with metal frame. This came in all metal with Hot/Cold printing barely visible. No time to return as guests are due soon and former plug is broken. If I wanted all metal, I would have ordered that one. Big thumbs down for bait and switch—if product is not available, remove from Amazon offerings!
