Does this crimp well on all Cat5e and 6 pins? I don't want to take a flat head screwdriver out to press in any uncrimped pins

I've done hundreds of crimps on many different brands of cat5/E Cat6 ends. I have yet to see this tool not crimp a pin correctly or fail at any level. Hope this helps.

Where are these made?

The big selling point point for me is that all Klein products are made in the USA by Americans and that they never outsource. For me that's what keeps me coming back to Klein even if is more costly. I want to know also if this is made outside the US and then is it only this tool or more of them? I will still buy Klein, but only those items made in the US.

This crimper does not cut the excess wire from the end of the EZ RJ45 connector. This is a separate step requiring a flush cutting tool.

Does this crimper lock in the closed position for storage?

Yes. There is a small knob on the side you turn to release. When you have a plug in the crimper performing a crimp, it will not lock (as an added benefit).
