Is it 500 sheets in total?

No, this has only 5 packs, 10 sheets each is what I received. So, 50 sheets altogether. Not what I was expecting at all.

Are these water proof, will you get wet if there's some left over pee on the toilet?

I would take some toilet paper and do a quick wipe before using the seat cover as they are thin and depending on how wet the seat is (sometimes water sprays from flushing) it’ll probably seep through. Otherwise, I’ve doubled up on the seat cover

Are these safe for septic? Flushable for city plumbing and septic tanks is very different.

They are almost the same texture/material as the traditional toilet seat covers in restrooms. Not sure if it would work for septic tank.

Do the disposable seat covers have a scent? Or completely unscented?

Hi. To me it seems unscented as far as a perfume aroma. However, it does have a very light scent of paper but nothing overpowering. If you want to use it for public toilets I don't recommend it. They are smaller than the typical public toilet seat. Hope this helps.
