does this work with a heating mat or is too thick?

I use this with a Vivosun heating pad and it works perfectly fine. The temps on the inside of the box register about 3-5 degrees higher with an 82% humidity. Without the 45W LED grow light I have, it's only about 2-3 degrees higher.

Please make the dimensions clear. I see three numbers? Which is width, and height, and length? Or what do all the numbers correspond to?

The fact they d not make this clear is sloppy and to question competence is not “nasty.”

how many 2" seedling pots will fit in it?

Let's look at this as an algebra problem... The space is 15×9 in 15 inches *the most* 2" pots you could potentially fit is 7 and in 9 inches*the most* 2" pots you could potentially fit is 4 ... So in a 15×9 tray *the most* 2" pots you could potentially fit is 28
