Vox AP2-CAB Amplug V2 Cab Amp Black

Has made practicing so much easier. I don't have to limit myself to one room. I can take this little box anywhere. I also have several of the Amplugs (Clean, Classic Rock) that give it a classic effect. Worth the money and investment. Love playing out on my back porch without lugging an amp through the house.

After using my AP2-AC30 with my headphones for several months, I was on the fence about spending the money on this little cabinet. I’m am so thankful I did! I spent two weeks confined to a hotel room for COVID quarantine and I can’t imagine not having this little setup. There were some negative reviews regarding the sound quality, but I had nothing but excellent tone come from this little speaker. It replicated the tone that I had in my headphones perfectly. I’m sure at peak volume, the sound quality may dive off a little, but in a hotel room, I’m not playing more than 3 or 4 at most anyway. I have nothing but great things to say about this little amp. It comes with a 9v battery, but does not come with an AC adapter.

Sounds decent and it came in good condition. I’m happy it came with a battery but putting it in was another story. It doesn’t fit so I had to remove the little wires it came with out of the box to get it to work. It’s hard to explain but you’ll understand when you get it. Another thing was that the wires inside can come off the amp which is weird. There’s a ribbon on the back (not sure why) and you need the mini amp plug to get a better experience. Another thing is that it’s huge. It’s bigger than my wallet. I thought it was gonna be small- which it is- but it’s thick.In general, it’s a good amp, it gets the job done.

Feels nice and heavy for its size & made well. It works great with my AC 30 amPlug 2 that plugs in to the top and sets on the top of this speaker like an amp head. Speaker sounds great and gets plenty loud. Happy with my purchase.

I got the AmPlug 2 for a electric travel guitar and use it with headphones. It's just a lot of fun to play with and has terrific sounds. I got this amp "cabinet" for times when I don't have to use headphones (which can start to hurt after a while). Does a great job of amplifying the sound. Worthwhile.

The item itself is fine but probably due to the poor packaging the item got damaged inside the box. I had to open the amp up and fix it.

Much, of what any speaker, sounds, like - depends on the player. If you're outstanding - you'll sound good through, even, a piezo, cell-phone speaker. I'm OK. I'm planning on using this set-up for a street performance, this Spring, using, a my wireless, Lekato plug-ins. It's loud enough to light up a street corner!

Its not super loud ,But perfect for small rooms. I use it with my Amplug Bass and AC30 units. The bass version over powers it and can only use the volume half way. This device is much more suited to the AC30 or other Guitar bases Amplugs. It works amazingly well and has a great sound for how tiny the cab actually is. Its perfect for what i wanted to accomplish. A way to hear myself play in a small environment without having to use headphones.
