I've been buying this brand of shelf for years now, I swear by them! I have them in our bathroom and over desks as well. The two main 'pros' for me?1.) Solid wood -- these are indeed solid wood shelves, and quite thick. They have a lovely color to them as well, similar to the 'acorn' wood from higher-end furniture brands2.) Ease of installation -- most hanging shelves like these come with a kit with two seperate posts. In my opinion, those are far more difficult to get correct than the Batoda hardware, which is a solid metal bar upon which the mounting pegs are fixed. This means they have basically premeasured everything for you- you just need a levelling bar to get them even.Tips to install more easily:- purchase a stud finder- use a leveller- screw in ALL the holes (necessary even with a stud, especially if you want to put books on these)

I added these to my kitchen and my living room and I am so happy with them. They are absolutely beautiful. I ended up buying three pair because I loved them so much. They are very sturdy and they do not sag down. They hold up strong and sturdy.

I decided to order the Batoda shelf for a number reason, one it was a solid material and I wanted longevity out of these shelves. Before the shelves arrived I received two emails from the Batoda making sure I had received the shelves which I thought was awesome. This has never happened to me before on Amazon where the seller reaches out to you directly to ensure one you received the product and second it was what you expected.I have to say this product will exceed any expectations one would have for floating shelves. Awesome product + awesome service = happy and satisfied customer.

Gorgeous and good quality. I got two sets and hung all four on a blank wall. They look great!

I was impressed with how easy it was to put up by myself and the quality of the wood. It looks custom so I’m very happy with how it turned out. All you need is a drill bit, hammer, screwdriver and level. It came with everything needed plus extras. I’ll be getting more sets for my house. I paid way more for my other shelving so the value to cost here is excellent.

I wish it looked like the pictures, but lots of defects. The two in the pack are different shades. Out of four prices iIgot only one is good.

The shelf is heavy and no drywall anchors are going to work reliably in this case. You can't install these shelves in a line because of the weird dimensions. Also, IMHO, no self-respecting DIY-er is ever should use drywall anchors on anything heavier than a cardboard. Always look for studs. However, when installed individually, the shelves look very good.
