Are these waterproof?

I had never wondered about that before you asked. I was amazed to discover they are absolutely waterproof! I placed a sheet of paper that was filled with writing from several days ago in a sink full of water. The water had no effect on the writing at all. Then I wondered if that was perhaps because the ink had time to set. Next, I wrote on a paper then immediately placed it in the sink. Again, no effect on the ink. I am really surprised by the result. The saturated paper falls apart, but the ink remains crisp and unaffected.
