Is this suitable for a woman?

This used to be called the woman's saddle but this tended to discourage men who need a wider saddle from ordering it. I used to ride a woman's saddle named the DIVA and got quite a few comments from the guys. This is every bit as comfortable as the DIVA and is suitable for both men and women but the markings no longer give a hint that it was once called a women's saddle. I have now put over 4000 miles on this saddle and consider it to be the most comfortable saddle especially for long multi-day rides.

Is this a good saddle for a triathlon bike?

I have no idea for a triathlon bike. However, I have an electric bike and after trying many saddles, that one was the best. I have no pain anywhere and it fits perfectly my body. Hope that help!

Has anyone compared this version to the gel version?? Seems that some don't like gel, and if you have riding shorts, that should be enough!

This is my third SMP TRK saddle. First large saddle. I don't care for gel saddles because of how they compress. I used a SMP TRK for a bicycle tour across the US. The saddle was comfortable but ended up cracking. Although, I've ridden the same saddle on three long distance tours so I'm happy with the performance. The only Gel saddle I used caused numbness. I've never had numbness using the SMP TRK. Even after long days cycling.

What is the diffeence between women version and this large version they seem to be the same are they?

The SMP TRK Large is the newer model that replaced the TRK Lady.
