These are the best light bulbs ever. They do not heat up you can actually touch them even if they've been on for hours so they do not produce heat into the house which we love, and they last for a long time. Great value for the money

These bulbs are AMAZING! We purchased them to replace identical bulbs in some 1970s walkway lighting. When another outdoor light sconce bulb burnt out, we used one of these. It was perfect! The lighting is bright and the bulbs are lightweight.

only gave four stars, as I haven't used yet. know the price was great and they arrived as promised. hard to get package open tho'.

These bulbs are GREAT !!! Made of plastic so no more bulb shattering. The best part is they are LED so low energy BUT the best part is the light it gives off is the same as traditional light bulbs , not that harsh bright LED light. Highly recommend.

{tl,dr (too long, didn't read) - too yellowish color, too expensive, not to be installed in total closed fixtures, I don't like them}I got a bucket from Home Depot for half price as black Friday deal...Pros:- no buzzing sound- shatter resistantCons:- too yellowish color- 20% were DOA- priceFirst, 2 out of 10 didn't work at all. They may be shatter resistant but 20% not working on arrival is not a good confidence. But I didn't rate them low because of this. I called customer support and I had to take picture of them with serial numbers visible and they are going to send two replacement. But frankly, I'm not sure I even want them. Their light is yellow. The whole room has yellow tone now. It just doesn't feel right any more. Once inside, you get used to it but every time I switch the lights one, I'm surprised how yellow light is. Me and my wife just don't like it. I know I will not buy them any more.They are shatter resistant, but does this really play such a big role? Once you install them, what does it matter? Shatter resistant feature is nice but not the deal breaker for me. All newer LED light bulbs are more durable on vibrations and shocks than the older type. But comparing to other newer LED's, is this such a deal breaker? Not at all.One feature that I actually like is, they really don't produce that tiny buzzing sound. For that I'm raising my review to two stars. If they would be more naturally white, I would give them 4 stars despite 20% of them were dead on arrival. Maybe it was just a bad batch. Lets see from other reviews if this was one time bad luck or these are really less reliable?One more disappointment was, light bulbs are not to be installed in completely enclosed fixtures. Bummer. Usually LED bulbs has this warning clearly written on the package. Since I could not see the warning on the black Friday's add, I assumed they are OK. Once I got them, small enough print does warns against it. Now that is a deal breaker for me.I bought some different LED's that can be put in enclosed fixtures, they have nice white light, they do unfortunately have that tiny buzzing sound, they have about 10 years longer life expectancy (well will see about that) and they are 2$ a piece, half priced than these durabulb and I like them better.These durabulb are too expensive. Because they are shatter resistant and they are being promoted as something best so far in the LED world. Which for me, I don't think they are. Bottom line, now I wish I didn't buy them.

I got some of these from QVC and fell in love with brightness but these were dimmer. But I know they last forever.

If you like white light like me then do not buy these cuz this are yellow yellow..

I ordered this type of bulb originally from a shoppers channel and because they did not sell that bulb anymore I checked on Amazon and they had the same make and wattage. However, even though the same bulb and wattage they aren't as bright. These bulbs give off a soft yellowish light, not a bright light that LED lights give. now I wonder how long they will last since the brightness isn t the same. So if you like soft yellow lighting these are for you. I prefer the bright lighting. It's like having sunshine in your home on a gloomy day which gives you that good feeling. Can't return because I've given some to family members BEFORE I tried out the bulb. My bad!
