Coolant Flange Thermostat Water Outlet Connector LR038758 LR025564 Compatible with Ford Land Rover

I picked up this BINB ROAD "Thermostat Water Outlet Connector" for my later model Land Rover LR2 (2.0 turbo petrol engine.) The part looks nearly identical to the factory part (which is Ford-branded.) I'm always a bit apprehensive about using parts like this on my Land Rover, but decided to give it a try since it was offered to me through the Vine program and installing the part on my LR2 was pretty straightforward. Even though it says "thermostat" in the description, this outlet is actually located on the opposite side of the engine, nearer the water pump.The part installed without issue though removing the four hoses from the original flange was a pain. This part comes with the needed sealing gasket pre-installed (and easily removable/replaceable if it were to develop a leak in the future.)Plastic parts like this are constantly subjected to heat and cold cycles which can sometimes impact their longevity. There are no moving parts in this flange to go bad so unless yours has developed a crack, you might just need to replace the gasket. Part includes a water temperature sensor with the appropriate electrical connector. So far, it's functioning as expected.
