Great product, but be sure to measure
The media could not be loaded. This Reflectix insulation works exactly as expected—lightweight, easy to cut, and very reflective. I used it to insulate my garage door, and I could already tell a difference in how much less heat comes through.Installation was straightforward: just some scissors, a measuring tape, and adhesive. It holds up well and looks clean once installed. One heads-up: a single 25-foot roll only covered about half of my garage door. If you’re planning to insulate an entire door (or more), you’ll definitely want to order at least two rolls to be safe.Overall, it’s a great product that does what it promises—I’ll be ordering more to finish the job!

Decent quality
I bought this to cover the windows in our camper to help keep the radiant heat out so the air conditioner doesn't struggle to keep our camper cool. Its easy to cut to fit. The blinds help to keep it in place. It has definitely helped to keep the camper cooler during the heat of the day. Sitting by the windows without the shades in the windows vs. with them in you can tell a big difference.

Garage Sunshade - it works!!
I was a bit skeptical at first. However, if one has ever used a window car shade - it does in fact work at keeping the inside of the car a bit cooler. I went into this project with the mentality of a sunshade for the garage. I looked up various materials to insulate the inside of my garage door, here in Texas. I considered weight which would be added to my garage door and price. I chose this product due to it's weight, price and name recognition. So, I took measurements of the garage panels which would be covered with this material. I used the appropriate adhesive / tape and began the work. I cut the pieces just slightly longer to allow pockets to be formed between the garage door panel and the insulation, which allows air circulation between the panel and the material. I didn't want the material to be immediately against the panel which may cause it to absorb heat and then just become a conductor of heat.It did not take long and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the results. At first I thought the temperature drop was just in my mind. I bought a lazer thermometer and took measurements several different days. The results were quite the same. The inside of the garage was at least 10 degrees cooler and at times a bit more.An added bonus is the material also has served as a sound barrier. Less noise comes in through the garage door. I can still hear outside noise, but it is quieter. I recommend this product if you are considering insulating your garage door. It worked wonders for me here in Texas.

Efficient and sturdy
Great for rv! We cut it into size of our windows and it’s made such a difference with the heat. They are a little thin but work surprisingly well!

Nice to keep RV cool.
Easy to install and remove. With good coverage for the till. Thick enough to block the light as opposed to other cheaper ones I bought. Works well especially when combined with tape or sticky pads. Extra adhesion definitely needed. But helps a lot with our energy usage.

Good Stuff, now I'm chillin
Good quality, highly reflective product. I bought this 24"x25' roll to keep the sun out of my standard wheelbase Chevy Express passenger van. I was able to cover all the windows from the driver's side, down the side, around the back and back up to the passenger side window, with about 2 feet left over. I was impressed with the quality of the mylar, or aluminum layers, they seem to be more heavy duty than the other (not made in the USA) products I have tried in the past. It was easy to cut and fit with an Exacto knife in on hand while the other held the Reflectix in place. I did cover the cut edges with silver duct tape, it fit in place just under the plastic window trim and has stayed in place while driving around. I am very pleased with the temperature control provided by this insulation/radiant barrier. This product, at the time of this posting, is still made in the USA.

DIY Window Covers - CamperVan
We used this to make black out shades / heat savers in our camper van for the windows. We sewed some fabric around the reflectix and it worked perfectly!!! Huge plus in the van. They’ve held up an entire camping season, with dogs I must say. If you’re looking to DIY some window covers, this is the product.
