Fantastic gift for a kid or sentimental adult
Photos don't do it justice! For the price, I expected something very plasticky and awful, but I primarily wanted something for my first grader to enjoy, that wouldn't be intimidating, but would keep her from experimenting with my nice turntable. I actually want one for myself, now! The tonearm is pretty cheap and plastic but the rest of it is actually really lovely. The sound from the speakers is better than I expected -- certainly tinny and thin compared to costly speakers, but not unduly muddy or distorted even at higher volumes. You won't fill a stadium with the sound but it's plenty loud enough for a kid-sized bedroom. Platter starts moving when the tonearm swings over. Really delightful real record player, not a toy. Looks SO nice, honestly it's got a tactile quality that photos don't capture. Obviously not for audiophiles but great for occasional/casual listeners.

It is nice to look at
The record player will not play records in full skips even on brand new records that are not at all warped. Tried to use 45 vinyls as well. It is nice to look at.. looks like the one i bought was already open being the plastic was already ripped open.

LOVE this! Works fantastic, and is a great piece of record nostalgia. I love playing my Vince Guaraldi records on it.

Such a cute player!
This record player is so cute. I bought it around Christmas time to play Christmas records. The case is so cute with the print on it. The record player seems super durable, and has held up to my 6 year old using it quite a bit. My only complaint is that even with the volume all the way up, that it is hard to hear if you are more than 10 feet away. It has plug-ins for speakers thankfully though!
