Oribe Surfcomber Tousled Texture Mousse, 2.5 oz

I love this. I have very fine hair and this product gives it volume and thickness. I'm able to go 2 days without having to wash my hair and restyle. I once even went 3 days. Since I have short hair, I use somewhere between a nickel- and quarter-sized amount. I'll buy it again.I have also used Keritase's volumizing mousse, which gave me volume. I like that product very much, too, but this one makes my hair feel thicker.

This product is not up to standards for similar products. It has a strong perfume smell, that conflicts with any fragrance I might wear. It goes on sticky in dry hair and clumps in wet. One can't comb through it and leaves hair stiff and crunchy. It also leaves a residue that leaves small white flakes and looks like dandruff. It is more like a plain mousse, not a "beachy" product.It doesn't even hold well.I've never sent a negative review, but this product is sub-standard. I wanted to return it but was unable to do so because of shipping regulations.

Feel is deceiving. You would think it will leave your hair stiff and hard, not at all. When its dry its soft and easily brushed

although I usually love oribe products, this mousse is a bit sticky. I will not be ordering it again.

I like Oribe's products and was looking for a mousse that I could travel with, so I tried this one. The other reviewers are right -- you need to watch the amount you use, and it is definitely less than their other products require. I think that is a huge plus! And if you apply the right amount, it has a great, long lasting volume effect. I normally use the Grandiose mousse but I've started to like this one more.

It does not do much which is unusual for this brand.

I tried this today with very good results! I have fine, curly-ish hair that needs encouragement to curl. This worked well for me on wet hair, followed by a couple of spritzes of water and lots of scrunching. Once my hair was fully dry, I fluffed without any crunchiness or stickiness. I may be in love.

I must say I’m a huge Oribe fan, but absolutely detest this mousse. It’s beyond sticky, and does nothing except clump together in your hair. It’s also nearly impossible to wash off of your hands. I purchased a full size and travel size for a trip, and both bottles had the same issue so I don’t think it was a particular “bad” bottle, but the product itself. I definitely wont be trying again! Such a bummer.
