CAL Farms 2" Beautiful Assorted Variety Succulents for Weddings or Party Favors or Succulent Gardens (Pack of 20)

I’ve purchased a ridiculous number of things on Amazon over the years, but this may very well be my first review.The succulents are beautiful! I ordered these for my mom and and my aunt for Christmas, and they were thrilled with their plants.I ordered late so that I wouldn’t have to care for the succulents for too long before giving them as gifts. As it turns out, I ordered them a little too late for Christmas delivery. However, the arrival timeframe was clearly indicated at time of order, AND the seller verified with me that I still wanted the plants even though they would arrive after Christmas. Great customer service.Shortly after ordering, I emailed the seller and requested that the plants selected be the most colorful that are currently in season. I was not disappointed. Not only was each plant unique, but also the variety in shape, leaf size, and color was fantastic.The box containing the plants was labeled FRAGILE and extremely well packaged inside with shredded paper and packing peanuts. Very little dirt had spilled out during shipping, and the plants perked up overnight after I opened the box. They still looked wonderful after putting the little containers in tissue and small gift bags.I will most certainly order these again. Not sure yet of the gift-giving occasion, but these are worth purchasing again. I am an extremely satisfied customer, so much so that I was inspired to write a review.

Where do I even begin? Let's start with shipping. I live on a remote east coast island. It generally takes a few days extra to receive any order. Not to mention, the package will take a rocky ride...get thrown around on a boat, on a dock, on a truck. And that's just the trip it'll take once it ventures through general shipping travels. Not only did my succulents arrive within a couple of days of ordering, they showed up in GREAT condition. Now, onto the customer service-A++++++. Because CalFarms has 100s of different succulents, and are all picked & sent based on season & other conditional factors, the succulents you receive will not come with any identification. I was a little bummed when I became aware of this. So, I emailed CalFarms. I had a response within an hour, asking that I snap a few pictures and they'd be glad to try and help identify my plants. Within a day or so, I had an email with a number list and the names of all 20 of my plants.CalFarms is incredible & they really care about their customers. I'd recommend them over and over. They're the best!

These are so cute!loved the variety. Perfect for Teacher Appreciation Week at my son’s school and even snagged a few for myself. They came very well packed and had instructions for how to revive them from being shipped. Their customer service is wonderful. I had an issue with the original delivery date as I live in snowy Colorado and was out of town the day they were supposed to be delivered. I emailed them and their response was quick. They delayed shipment until I was home to receive them. I will definitely buy from them again!

Although I have ordered several sturdy house plants from Cal Farms , I honestly was a little apprehensive to order delicate succulents online. I am THRILLED with the health, beauty and careful packing of my gorgeous little plants. ALL 20 of my plants were different and in such great shape. One plant had a broken petal but it is fairly unnoticeable. I will definitely order from Cal Farms in the future and I highly recommend their quality.

I purchased these as wedding favors. They are adorable. I also purchased 2” clay pots (perfect size), and a bag of extra soil. I don’t recommend the soil because I didn’t even need to open it. They came with plenty of soil in the plastic pots. I was disappointed that they were not more colorful like those pictured. I ordered 60 plants all together and all except 3 were green. I think the pictures should more accurately depict the plants sent to the customer. I was counting on using these as a colorful display/decoration which wedding guests would take as they leave, but now I have to make an additional purchase to liven them up with something colorful...thus the 4 stars instead of 5.

I was so skeptical to order plants online but this was by far the cheapest way for a bunch of little plants for party favors for my mom's garden party. They arrived quickly and did need watering right away. It had been a very hot summer for us. They needed some tending to as well but that isn't the fault of the seller. They were packed well. (Although I would suggest they not use those little crinkled paper pieces that took some time to carefully pick out and pull on the leaves of the plants) As you can see from the pic these were darling and easy to spruce up and set on the table near guests plates. I kept them in original containers and placed two small square tissue papers of complimenting colors, slipped a tag on a ribbon, and tied it. Guests loved them! People wanted to know if I had any extras.

A few came crumpled but most were alive. I quickly watered and then potted them with extra soil the next day. The small pots I used were ranging between 2 to 4 inches deep, and let’s just say that even though they got good sun, some didn’t fare well with not much room for root growth… Or at least I think that is what killed them. I gave them plenty of water but not too much, and they are on the window sill with plenty of light throughout the day, but a few of them quickly just shriveled up and died. Out of the large pack I got there are currently only 7.5 left which is pretty disappointing. Safe to say this will be the last time I buy succulents online, as I’ve had much more success with buying larger succulents at stores (even grocery stores), as those are much stronger than a smaller plans to begin with and have all been alive for years.
