Excellent dumbbells; FYI may be shipped in multiple boxes
Very happy with these dumbbells. I had the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells that were recently recalled. I really liked those as well, but these REP adjustable dumbbells are better.Pros:- Compact and comfortable to lift.- As my son says, grip like "real" dumbbells. I saw some reviews complain that the grip hurts, I find it provides a firm hold especially when my hands get sweaty. I could use gloves, but not needing that.- Easy to shift between weights; added 2.5 lb weights easy to add and subtract to allow for incremental changes.- I really like the design and finding it easier to do over-the-head and bicep exercises than with my (longer) Bowflex dumbbells.- Seemingly sturdy (a lot of metal) and well made. Excellent packaging including a quality control sign-off in each box sent.Cons:- I bought the 50lb weights. A heads up that they sent me the 30lb set and then in separate packages sent the remaining 20lbs. Easy to install more weight, but they should have given notice that it would be shipped in "pieces" this way. The extra weights came days later, so I actually filed a return request to Amazon and was about to process that.Overall, worth the price in my opinion.

Space Savers
Awesome product.I have a small room for workouts and while these are large, they are really nice for having a full range of weights in a space way smaller than a full dedicated rack would take. Makes them easy to store and travel with too.A little loose/clanky as you attach more weight, but you get used to it, and does not affect using them at all. Handles feel great in the hand too.Switches are thick and chunky, just don't forget to lock them or your toes are on the line!Only complaint is the microweights have to be placed from the top of the handle (main weights let you set the handle into them) and the position of the microweight switch has caught on my clothing a couple times so pay attention when first using them - you get used to holding them to avoid this.Durable, quick to switch, and easy to store - would definitely recommend them to anyone who has limited space and has the budget - I'd consider them great for the price considering some alternate options approach almost twice the cost.

Infinitely better than Blow-flex
I did a bunch of research, bought the Bowflex, and then regretted it bitterly. The Bowflex looks cool on paper but it has an incredibly delicate, complex, hard-to-understand, easy-to-break gear mechanism. And of course my Brokeflex broke the instant I took it out of the box and set it on the cradle. It bound permanently to the cradle, irrepairably. Fortunately even though Bowflex doesn't want you returning it (they have a big flier inside begging you not to), Amazon took it back without question.I'm dead serious, go do a search for "Bowflex stuck" and you will see HUNDREDS of resources on how people's Bowflex dumbbells broke permanently. Oh, and their customer service is actually terrible just like all the reviews say. I couldn't reach them.So I returned the Bowflex, did more research, and found that this brand, Rep, is literally the only brand of adjustable dumbbell on Amazon that doesn't have a bunch of reviews saying, "A weight fell off and broke my foot!" All of the other brands have reviews that say "For God's sake buy something safer!"But this Rep set had suspiciously positive reviews. It didn't seem to have a lot of purchases, presumably because it's more expensive than the others. But I took the plunge and bought the set with the full 60-lb expansion, you can see it in the photo I took. Each dumbbell goes to 60lbs. And even though this is just a pair of adjustable dumbbells, there is a LOT to say about them, especially in comparison with the Bowflex.First, the packaging: The Rep came in 4 manageable boxes of up to 30 pounds each. The Bowflex came in a single 102-pound box. This complicates everything from shipping to unpacking to returns. I like the Rep box design a lot better.Second, the instructions: The Bowflex requires a PhD in their idiotic gearing mechanism. It requires lots of study -- there are tons of warnings and things to learn. Do this, don't do that, or it will break. Blah blah. Not what I wanted to before working out. Whereas the Rep came with so few instructions that I was concerned at first, but it turns out to be so simple and easy that you don't NEED a bunch of instructions. I watched their company video one time, the one where they throw it off the roof of their corporate HQ, and their video taught me everything I needed to know. Frankly you can learn everything about using these weights in under a minute.Next, the cradle: The Rep cradle design is *much* better than the Bowflex cradle. For one, the Bowflex dumbbells cannot work without their cradle. You could throw the Rep cradles away if you wanted; it's not required at all and it wouldn't matter. Compare to the Bowflex, which needs its plastic cradle for actually changing the weights. The Rep cradle is also lower profile, prettier, and significantly more durable (the Bowflex one felt cheap).OK, and last, the actual dumbbells. They look and feel badass. Changing the weights is so fast that I was doing it as fast as the guy in the video within a few tries. You really can do it just as fast as the Bowflex, especially if you count the time needed to insert and remove them from the cradles. You're just flipping red switches; you can see them in the picture. You can technically get it down to 2.5-lb increments on the weight, but you have to be OK with a very slight imbalance. You just take off one 2.5-lb adder weight (which takes 2 seconds, including setting it down). Because the 2.5lb weights are positioned near your hand, closer to the center of gravity, the imbalance is minimal. The design of these Rep dumbbells is clean and simple. You can see just by looking at them how they work. Even an idiot like me can figure them out. The weights drop cleanly into their slots, which are V-shaped and forgiving. Everything fits together smoothly. The dumbbells don't rattle as you use them. The grip is comfortable. There are two extra smaller handles on each dumbbell for doing 2-hand exercises. And overall they look incredibly professional. They would be completely in place in an actual gym -- these things can take a real pounding. So glad I switched to the Reps. I'm already motivated to work out more. Good stuff.

REP Fitness Adjustable Dumbbells
REP makes high quality products and their Quick Draw adjustable dumbbells' are terrific. If I had lots of space to dedicate to a workout room, along with a good bit more $, I might prefer a set of individual dumbbells. Easy to assemble and put to work. Their packing for shipping is top notch. I had purchased their AB-4100 adjustable weight bench last December that is also very high quality. Well worth every cent I've spent on their products.

A solid set
So far impressed with these. The 2.5 pound weights have a little play and make a little noise but the tolerances are pretty tight for the 5 pound plates. Easy and quick to adjust and nice that you can adjust the weights outside of the cradle for quick changes for drop sets or super sets. They feel solid and being proven to withstand any accidental drops is good peace of mind.

Alright. Too big and too high weight intervals.
It was solid. I just wish it had smaller weight intervals and wasn't simo bulky. It was too much weight for me. I should have researched it better.

Excellent Adjustable Dumbbells
Excellent dumbbells. Adjustable from 5-60lbs. Wouldn’t mind if they went a little higher but they are fast to change, easy to take in and out of the cradle, and probably one of the most durable on the market.
