The book is one of the best that exhibits concept art for movies. The 2 worlds of Earths MIghtiest heroes was beautifully portrayed along with stories, behind the scenes, sketches and digital art. Above all the world created by the visionary Zack which was a dream come true, explaining how he visualized and illustrated the world of Batman and Superman in this present world of us. This book is all worthy of its price and an added asset to creative people to know about behind the stage, pre-production stories and also to those who have enjoyed this movie.

This is a deluxe hardback book - titled "The Art of the Film" in relation to "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". It's 192 pages in length, and is full of glossy images from (and about) the movie. The author - Peter Aperlo - does offer some details and insight into how the film was conceived, designed and produced. Additionally, there is an outline of the main story. There are numerous quotes from the director and the main actors, explaining the film-making process. If you're interested in finding out more about the 'back story' of the movie, you'll find this book fascinating.While there are several drawings, this book is less of an "art of the film" as it is a "making of" the movie. Indeed, the director presents an afterword where he says this is a "making of book". As such, I think the title is something of a poor choice.The best thing about the book are the photos, showing behind the scenes of – as well as many images directly taken from – the movie. If you're a fan of the film and wish to browse through a good quality book of images, then this is a perfect item. I bought the book with this in mind. Had I especially been after the "art" of the film, I would have been somewhat disappointed. Nonetheless, there are several pieces of artwork - and I've attached some photos of these for you to see (my apologies for the poor lighting).Overall: if you have enjoyed the film, and you want a piece of memorabilia, this is a good book of quality photos relating to the movie.

The book is presented beautifully. But and it's a big but, it's not a concept art book. There is hardly any in here. It's got photos of most of the characters and a brief description of them. Overall a good book but not really what it should be.

Even though I was under the impression that this would be more behind the scenes footage, I can't say I was not happy with the result. Lots of production designs (that's what I aimed for) and a thorough look at the characters of the film, with cast and crew quotes and a rich photo archive from the set

Mais um livro essencial para os amantes do cinema, em especial os apaixonados por adaptações de histórias em quadrinhos. Tudo lindo, maravilhoso e impresso com primazia, detalhando o processo de desenvolvimento e concepção do filme até os bastidores da produção. As imagens falam por sim, com introduções de texto pequenas, pontuando os capítulos, e pequenas descrições de algumas delas. Não ganha cinco estrelas porque ao final da leitura, muito rápida, por sinal, fica a impressão de que faltou algo mais no livro, que foi feito às pressas para coincidir com o lançamento do filme - o capítulo da batalha contra Apocalipse, por exemplo, é muito curto, você fica querendo mais. Ainda assim, vale o investimento e é um item mais que obrigatório para os fãs dos personagens.

Desde su formato en tapa dura hasta los diversos Artes Conceptuales de la pelicula.Lo que -: Me hubiera gustado un libro con mas páginas, mas material. Pero es mas capricho mio. Todo genial con esta edición.Recomendaria este libro a los fans del comic en general y, en especial, a los fans incondicionales Batman v Superman.

Una libro que deben comprar quienes son fanaticos de DC y en particular de BvS. Excelente y muy completa edición. El libro llego en excelentes condiciones salvo una de las esquinas del lomo que llego dañada pero se entiende por el año en que se edito el libro.

I love this movie. I know lots of people hate it but I have watched it maybe 20 times. I couldn't wait to get this book and it did not disappoint. It is soooo cool to see the process from sketches to paintings to the finished version in the film. I am so impressed with the quality of this book that I actually bought the Justice League one as a companion piece. I highly recommend this book as well as the film (don't listen to the negative reviews).

For lovers of the "Art of" books put out by Marvel, this one is a little disappointing. Everything reads like a press release from the studio. There are a lot of "irrelevant" opinions by the main cast of the movie and, frankly, not a lot of insight from the artists or art directors.Still: the visuals are interesting, and that's the main reason people buy these books anyway. The rest is icing on the cake. So even if this cake has thin icing, it does provide a pretty good look on how the visuals evolved on this much maligned movie.

El libro llegó en excelente estado, el contenido es fantástico. Demuestra el nivel de detalle de los artes conceptuales, así como bocetos y storyboards. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para todo aspirante a ilustrador o bien a cualquier apasionado sobre estos personajes.
