Still haven't tried the waterproofing - updated after multiple snorkeling trips
The media could not be loaded. We bought this to use on a cruise, and still haven't left yet. But we used it at a couple of event prior to that such as our County Fair and our daughter took a trip to Salt Lake City and used it. So just a few photo comments now.1) It's not bad for a basic point and shoot, though it's low light performance is not as good as our Nikon B500 or my Samsung Galaxy S9+.2) It's movie format of MOV tends to be a little larger than mp4 eating up more card space.3) It tends to use up batteries if you want to keep it at the ready, so buy after market batteries and carry a few with you.4) The optical zoom is a little anemic compared to other Point and Shoots available. Can't wait to try it snorkeling on the cruise. So overall it's a good general digital point and shoot for the price but not outstanding in performance if compared to some other cameras on the market. But it's ruggedness and waterproofing make definitely worth the price if they pan out.Edited September 2, 2020:Well we've used this for a number of snorkeling trips (both in the Southern Caribbean and in Key West FL) and have added pics and a video. We are very pleased with this camera. The price to performance is incredible. The only thing I would recommend is to buy extra larger batteries (which we did). If you take a lot of videos and are on a 2 drive trip, you'll need to swap batteries between dives (of course I take a ton of pics as well currently have taken over 1500 pics and movies with it).Looking forward to enjoying this camera on upcoming trips off Vero Beach FL, and another Southern Caribbean Cruise next spring.

Great camera for the price.
I got this camera as a gift for my 8 year old child who wanted to take videos of wildlife outside and some pictures too. While you can certainly find much better cameras than this, at this price point I was very impressed. It is also nice that it’s waterproof dust proof and shock proof to certain degrees as this was meant to be given to a younger kid. The camera controls are intuitive and easy to understand even for a kid. The one downside which is a factor that f it being water proof is that it’s a little cumbersome to charge. The compartment holding the battery has a seal and getting it open isn’t the simplest especially for anyone with larger hands. It has to be a sealed compartment for the waterproofing but I think the mechanism to open it could have been improved.

compact good camera
have had this company before and not too many problems with great picture, image stabilationation and picture quality. good on the go camera. battery strength can vary on what you are doing but good overall camera.

What you get is better than what you order?
I ordered this FX130 and received an FX140 by mistake. The vendor offered that I keep the FX140 in apology for the shipping mistake. Can't argue with the kind of customer satisfaction dedication! As the reviews of the FX series indicate: great color, great features, technically advanced, with so-so Bluetooth picture transfer interface with iOS devices. Would recommend highly - but hang onto your patience with Bluetooth performance.

Wouldn't turn on!
I had planned a very low key yet fun wedding. I bought this camera for we got married on a boat and went to Catalina right afterwards. We wanted something that we could take in the water. This camera would not turn on unless plugged in! We tried 5 different outlets over the course of a few days incase it just wasn't charging but nothing worked. My friend went the day of my wedding to buy a camera just so we had some photos BUT we did not have a camera for when we went scuba diving in Catalina island. I was so upset. I have since returned this camera and now waiting on my refund.

Low resolution, often misses focus
I'm a professional photographer, used to high resolution, sharp photos. The attached photo was as good as we got with this one. It was fun, but just a throw away toy to give us a little extra activity on the shoot. We got thousands of great photos using the real cameras. I'll rent a pro underwater camera next time if faced with similar circumstances. This is hit or miss, and 99% miss. You can take an underwater photo with it and it is very cheap. so 3 stars instead of just one.

Not worth it
I purchased this camera and after 3 uses under 3ft off water the display screen showed water in the camera on the interior of the display screen , Camera only charged one time and compartment door was locked . worked for about 3 weeks before leaking. Pictures quality was good just not the housing

It would not work!
I gave it as a gift for a cruise my son was taking, but it would not work. They were not able to have pictures for their memories. How disappointing is that?
