Quiet 🌱 Consistent With A Few Tweaks
My bundle of refrigerator and battery arrived in two separate shipments. The manufacturer warned me “after” the purchase that this would be the case. The refrigerator and battery combo is physically quite attractive and fit well together. The fridge door vacuum seals shut which saves energy and maintains cooling within a six degree temperature span of the set target (your own refrigerator does the same only louder). After installing the battery, it wouldn’t charge from the fridge (AC). The system update (firmware) wouldn’t complete either. But now, after running the battery to down 20% by pulling the AC power cord, the update completed and all of the features work beautifully. The battery charges to 80% to preserve its life as instructed. For someone living alone the whole thing is quite amazing really. Not a lot of storage but I have my Britta water pitcher and other cold necessities packed away comfortably. If I had a complaint it would be that the main storage basket needs a physical divider. I furnished mine from packaging tape.Update 7/31/25 Voila! The perfect unit from an operational perspective. Now, I finally was able to update the firmware which was the last issue I encountered. Here’s how to do it if you’re having problems.First, EcoFlow support is EXCELLENT. They suggested that I1. unbind the phone from the app2. Upgrade the software app3. Re-log into my Wi-Fi4. Repeat the upgradeThat didn’t quite work so I unplugged the unit placing it in battery mode (had plenty of juice at 80% full) and reinitiated the procedure above. It worked! It’s likely that I could have removed the battery placing the unit in AC mode and achieved the same result. I suspect that because the unit has to restart twice during the process that it stumbles in the update process when confused about the power source. Eliminate one of them and you’re good.

Worked very well
I purchased this for a group camping trip to keep devices charged. The panel was only getting afternoon Sun for a few hours but after 4 days of camping the battery was only down to 71%. From 100%. Kept at least 8 peoples devices fully charged. Charging at home test prior to trip. Battery was at 30% when it arrived, full Sun 1/2 day charged to 80%.

Battery connection
Make sure to install the app and have the firm ware updated when adding an extra battery. It works well and charges well. My mother is using it for her sleep apnea machine and a small air conditioner at times. Even a heat lamp. The app is extremely handy for this unit. Make sure to grab a cord for it because it is not included. Also a carrying bag is handy. Why the cord is not included is beyond me.

NOT RELIABLE
After receiving my River Pro, I fully charged it. I set it up as a UPS backup for my sump pump. First major storm and the backup system failed! Tried to recharge the River Pro for the second time and ...nothing! Would not stop turning on and off on its own....and those beeps drove me crazy! The unit went haywire and is now totally useless. Really nice, heavy paperweight now. The company told me that they would fix it but no warranty since a year had past...shipping both ways at my expense. Does not make sense...guess they consider them throw-aways if warranty runs out. Second time for using it...and totally dead and no recharge function. Now I wonder about my two Delta Max's!I contacted Echo Flow and they informed me that I could ship it to them and they would service the unit at my cost - shipping...the fix...and shipping again. It was out of warranty by six months. It was two and a half years old and only setup and used as a UPS backup...which it failed at as the unit failed at some point during the two and one half year period. Will not recommend or purchase another Eco flow product ever again. Lesson learned. Simply not reliable.

Happy with my purchase
I purchased this bundle along with the River Pro Extra Battery for added capacity. The main unit that arrived was defective out of the box. After contacting EcoFlow they sent out a replacement in a timely manner.Performed as expected the first weekend out. It was super hot and it kept a large fan running all night easily, with some lights and of course keeping devices charged. During the day, we never saw 160 watts from the solar panels, but we expected this based on research. During bright sunlight, the panels produced a steady 120 watts. About the solar panels, the build quality seems excellent. I was afraid of folding units coming apart at the seams, I don't picture that happening here. They also come with a carrying case that doubles as a stand.Only negatives I can think of is I'm not a fan of apps in general. I wish changing some settings could be done on the main unit, rather than in app only. One thing I would suggest is turning off the fast charging feature(app only) to extend overall battery life.If you are considering this unit I would say go for it. It has a large capacity and is not too heavy. Don't purchase a smaller one, you'll never regret having a bigger battery.
