This brass replacement sensor valve kit by ZEPNL performs just like the plastic OEM version but is so much better because it is quality brass instead of plastic. Beyond that, it actually costs less as well. If your sink, shower, tub, etc is no longer providing instant hot water but the pump is still working, then it is most likely a bad sensor valve. Since this kit also includes a couple of hoses and adaptors, you can also use this replacement valve to quickly set up additional instant hot water zones. I particularly like the vibrant red and blue hoses so you can easily tell the hot side from the cold side during future inspections. If you have a hot water recirculating system that uses this type bypass valve, you need to have a spare on hand. It is just a matter of time before the plastic type valve will fail. Usually you know when it fails when you can only get hot water from your faucet. This valve is brass and is said to have much longer life than the plastic type. It includes the valve, two faucet hose adapters and two color coded bypass hoses. Also included is the hardware to mount it to the wall under your sink. The valve is clearly marked as to Hot and Cold In and Out. Keep one on hand. It takes just a wrench and a few minutes to replace it.
