My elite 2 controller was falling apart which after time they always do. The outer coating will bubble due to heat generated from your hands and there is nothing you can do about it. Basically eventually all elite controllers will suffer this. If you use it regularly it will happen. As you can see in the pics that was the state of my controller after less than 2 years. I took a stanley knife to it and a sander to make it feel at least comfortable to hold. Performance wise it is faultless just now very ugly.Now I'm thinking time for a new elite until I came upon this little beauty. With this skin on it not only feels great but makes my controller look new and not like something ready for the skip.There is however a slight design fault. The way the skin sits under the paddles. The top paddles are fine but the lower paddles are travel restricted by the skin. This is not a problem if you don't use the paddles but if you are not using the paddles you don't need an elite controller. I play mostly Forza Horizon 5 (manual w/clutch so lower paddles are gear shifters) and Fifa23 where I have lower paddles LB and RB just for QoL. This is where the surgery comes in. I fitted the skin on. After pressing the lower paddles I instantly thought thats not right. I took a green marker pen and drew around the paddle then with a pair of scissors cut around that line. Worked a charm.Another thing to note is it just fits into the case and makes contact with the charging dock if you give it a good push.To summarise.Pros.-Fits well.-Feels good.-Looks good.-Reinvents a knackered controller.-Good value for money.Cons.-Minor surgery needed to make it fully functional.-2 thumbcaps included that for the life of me couldn't get to fit.

The fit is absolutely perfect, I bought it to go over my peeling elite2.At first I thought it was not gonna be grippy enough but there’s no issue using this skin on your controller at all.Very happy

As happens to them all, the rubber grips on my Elite Series 2 started to lift off. I'm quite lucky that it took almost 4 years for it to happen.I checked out a few of these silicone covers and went for this one as it had some quite favourable reviews.It was super easy to fit and is nice and and snug on the controller - its also feels quite good in the hand which surprised me mainly because I have not yet managed to remove all the remnants of the original grip. I don't really think I will need to. The feel of it is a bit too smooth - I preferred the original textured grip, but I can cope.The thumb-stick covers made a nice improvement to my favoured sticks as they had become a very smooth with use. They were not as easy to fit, but they also won't easily come off.I do have a slight issue with the rear right paddle which is somehow stopped before it can engage the button. I can't see exactly what the problem is. The left works fine and everything appears symmetrical as far as I can see. Possibly the grip is slightly thicker on the right underside. I can't really tell.Anyway, I fixed the issue by cutting out a tiny piece of an adhesive foam pad and sticking it on top of the button while leaving the outward side with the backing in place. This increases the button height by about 0.5mm and the paddle can now engage. Happy days.

I find the elite series 2 was just a little too small and uncomfortable for my hands so thought I would try this to increase the size a litle, worked an absolute treat and with the extra thick sides I am sure this was actually their design intention to address the size problem, very good quality and feel and fits with no gapping anywhere...put the thumbstick grips on as well after taking these photos and they are very good as well...finally my Elite Series 2 Is what I hoped for when i purchased it and looks aesthetically even better than original 😎

A lot more comfty in my hands than the uneven surface of the elite pad 2. I even like the thumb grips I didn't think I would use them

Thumb grips do not fit. Otherwise great buy. Very comfortable.

I quite enjoyed using my controller with this grip as I recently repaired it and wanted to make it last. However I felt like it made the controller a bit too bulky to hold. Mainly near the triggers. Sometimes the trigger gets stuck in the grip.

Fantastic item. It adds some extra volume overall and makes the controller far more comfortable over long gaming sessions. I never thought Id user the thumbcaps, but I use them both and really like the feel. Easy to install and stays put. Thank you PlayVital

This is actually the controller elite v1 not the v2 it works perfectly on it, smooth touch, no more words than "This is what evrybody want"

Al tatto non è male anche se sarebbe stato preferibile un silicone più morbido. Non è come quello delle custode originali per iphone per intenderci. Provata d'estate a 32 gradi e d'inverno e non mi scivola mai di mano
