I like it! I tape to my microphone to play instrumentals. This one sounds really cool, definitely an upgrade to a regular kazoo. And not having to change the bladders is a hugs plus! Definitely a thumbs up!

First the service was perfect. Tis a beautiful sturdy kazoo that does not require ever a replacement membrane per advertisement. Which is interesting as in the instructions it says to close the exit or end of the Kazoo & breathe in and out to activate the membrane. And you can definitely appreciate there is movement in the diaphragm. The volume of sound is significantly muted. And I will place an addendum after I play for a few hours to see if the sound it produces improves. But as a collector I would say get it. But if this is your one and only kazoo this is not the one., Maybe after breaking in my opinion will change.

This is a great kazoo. Sturdy without any need for a diaphram. I love the string that you can put around your neck to carry the kazoo with you. Great price too!

My husband loves the kazoo, and I found this one while looking for better quality ones. This model js delightful, and it sounds really nice!

This is an addition to my previous review. You should know that despite it's horn-like shape, almost no sound actually comes out the bell of the horn end: as in all kazoos, 95 percent of the sound comes out of the hole where the reed is. In this case, that's the star-shaped hole on top, which sends the sound up, past your nose, instead of outwards/forwards. You can add some mild effects by how you cup your hand across the bell of the horn, but you're really just restricting the exhaust airflow pressure, not the sound. The overall sound is not unpleasant, after all a kazoo is only as good as your singing voice behind it, but frankly, the kazoo attachment known as the "Wazoo" is far superior, even attached to any plastic two-dollar kazoo. The Wazoo is similar to the horn of an old Victrola record player, but it plugs onto the place where the sound actually comes out, focuses and projects that in a useful way. You can point that towards a microphone and get the right effect, with a tone that's more like a sax. Looks a little silly, but is the most effective and loudest way to play a kazoo that I've found, besides inserting a mic into the reed hole to patch into a guitar amp.This thing looks kind of like an oboe, clarinet or bassoon, but the music doesn't come out of the bell end. I own many kazoos, including some that mimic the look of a trumpet or a saxophone. In both those cases, the sound still comes from the reed hole, not the visual bell of the instrument.In terms of the mouthpiece, it lacks enough of a ridge or groove for your teeth to hold onto, and it's taper will make it pop out of your mouth under hard playing, unless you hand-hold it. This isn't the end of the world, but if you play it hands-free, like I do in my ukulele band, that's a deal-breaker. They offer these "on sale" on FB for sixty dollars, as if they are some kind of orchestral instrument. I'm glad I didn;t pay that much, but I overpaid all the same on this. Get the Wazoo instead; you won't be sorry

We started a kazoo band to march in the neighborhood Independence Day parade. These kazoos work well. The lanyard was a nice addition. I have not used the extra membranes yet, not sure if I ever will. But the kazoo is fine, and is packed up, waiting for the next time for silly serenades!

I bought this after seeing a short video of a woman playing it very smoothly in a parking garage - tracked down the design and picked it up. It sounds pretty good for a plastic kazoo, though I think I need to work on my technique to make it sound as good as she did, or add reverb. Good value for the fun!

This kazoo seems well made and sounds as it should. It also looks pretty cool.
