I was hoping for a harder, stiffer weave. This product is luxurious and silky, but not the hard weave type of cord. Also, the product came, not on a spool or board, but as a twice-folded skein. At first I was afraid it would tangle so badly I'd have trouble getting it untangled. Wasn't so bad. As for the product itself, it looks substantial and well-made.

We used this cord to restring an expesive window treatment that after many years of use was in good shape except for its frayed cord. We could no longer raise and lower it. The old cord was the same dimensions as the newly purchased cord but a little stiffer than the new cord. But It works fine. Here's hoping it will last as long as the old one did!

A lot of the pictures on the listing shows spools and I paid a bit more for this because I thought it would come on a spool but it came in a bundle in a plastic bag. Got a little tangley while rolling it up on a makeshift spool.

Very crappy cheap rope. It disintegrated and turned to powder in a very short time.

This braided rope replaced the twisted-style rope in my small block and tackle. It’s very strong and runs smoothly thru the pulleys

I needed to replace the cord on my drapery track and was unable to find any locally or online. This seemed to be a good substitute, and, after receiving and installing it, it worked out very well. Time will tell if it stands up to the daily wear and tear of opening and closing the drapes. If it's sturdy enough for boats, I'm sure it will be sturdy enough for a drapery track.

So the item is cleary shown on a convenient spool which I values after opening the bag of twisted line which instantly upon starting to unwind and use turned into a massive knot. Hey manufacturer change the photo! Or better package product onto a spool.
