Great mat! The thicker foam is easier to fall and roll on. After 2 hours of throws & take-downs, I’m not even sore later. Though I wish I could have a larger area (10’ x 10’), This size is easier to transport and store. Folds down to an easy size. Has Velcro on all sides, and comes with convenient handles. 2 of these fit (lying flat) in my Prius (with the wider back seat folded down). I use them for self defense mat work. This mat attaches to my other mat of the same size to make an 8’ x 8’ square. When the mat is folded down, and stacked on top of a matching mat, it’s a great height to practice jumps. It is low impact too, easier on the knees. (It’s supposed to be 16” high with two of them stacked, but it seems a little higher because of the air spaces.) But if you do jump on 2 stacked mats, have someone there to keep mats from slipping/sliding...just in case. It hasn’t happened to me, but it’s better to be safe. I’m making 2 Velcro ‘belts’ to hold the mats together, since I don’t always have spotter nearby. Price is great too, these mats get very expensive. This was the best price I found on a 2” thick mat with 4-sided Velcro.

Quality made- good size. I got this for my young kids to practice gymnastics, but I think it will last a while as they grow and use it for various things. It’s nice that it has a Velcro band to attach other mats if we opt to get more in the future

A wonderful mat set at half the price. I compared this to the much higher priced kids tumbling mats and I cannot tell the difference. covered in heavy vinyl and the stitching is just as good (which is not great on any of these types of mats). But it is sturdy and thickly padded. It works great and has velcro at each end so that you can daisy chain another mat to extend the length.

I am so pleased with this mat! It is a Quality Product Worth The Money!! Love the colors I chose also they are true to the pics. I bought this for an ADULT Exercise mat. I have some health issues and want to do more floor exercises to help lose weight and because my ceramic flooring is so hard on my knees even with 2 1" thick yoga mats, a area rug with a mat, I needed something THICK!!! This is HEAVY DUTY DENSE FOAM inside!!! It is PERFECT for someone that weighs 230 lbs! I kneel on it, sit on it lay on it and it does NOT DENT in at all!! Highly Recommend if you are looking for something for exercise purposes. Also, I did see someone mention to be careful when cutting the box open so I was and included a pic of what it looks like when you open the long side end flaps. If you look at the box and cut the tape "gently" on the outside going along the long side of the box, you will see where the box flaps close and if you cut it open there you will NOT cut your mat!!

This mat is great! As other reviewers mentioned, the handles are poorly attached - one of mine was torn when it arrived - but I didn't buy it for the handles! The mat is firm, the cover is very well-made (except for the handles), it's light and easy to move, and it had no new-plastic stink. Perfect for our use: an inexpensive exercise mat for a person with balance issues who falls a lot!

Update: almost a year later this mat has 100% held up! Constant use, dragged down steps, outside, and walked on by a 80lb Lab! No regrets was a great purchase! Got this for my 7yo daughter who constantly upside down. The mat is a nice dense foam supportive but with good cushion. The size is perfect! Plenty large enough for her acrobatics but not too cumbersome to fold and pack away. I shopped around a lot and picked this one for the value and reviews and I'm not disappointed.

We absolutely love this mat for our gymnast. Some of the gymnastics mats are very hard and can hurt the bottom of your feet, this one has a nice cushion for landing a cartwheel, front handspring, round off's, and practicing those bridge kick over's. This mat is long enough to use for stretching and conditioning as well. I like the fact that it can fold up and be stored away if needed. The colors were a plus too. I would definitely buy again.
