Revising my review. Seems to work as expected but would be nice to have a guide. Turns out we were not using it properly. Basic device that currently functions. Will report back in 10 days.

I think it is very accurate reading and very easy to handle but in this package there is no instructions from one touch company, Frist time user is confused how to use. Please do needful for this matter.

It's working good but the strips are very costly.

This is the third One Touch Select Plus Simple glucometer I am buying. I have tried other brands (Accu Check) and other One Touch models (Verio Flex) and the Select Plus Simpleis easily the easiest to use and most reliable. However, I notice that the manufacturers are cutting corners in design and quality of material used in accessories like the lancet gun, lancets, test strips, etc. Most disappointing is that the cappilarity action in the test strips is no longer as efficient as it used to me. The glucometer itself looks relatively the same from when I first used it years ago.

Dont waste your time purchasing this item believe me..the items like needle lanchet is cheap and not as describe in the picture. Also NO FREE test strip.
