The zipper pocket fit 4 pencils with eraser tops, 2 glue sticks and an eraser. I probably could have comfortably fit more things in this pocket but it wasn’t necessary for us. The bottom compartment fit a 24 pack colored pencils box, a 24 pack crayon box and a medium-large pair of pointed scissors. Again, if I had to add another small to medium object here, it probably would have fit. The flip pocket held 2 skinny highlighters, a pen, and 2 thick dry erase markers. I was able to zip up the pouch with ease and had no problems with the zipper getting stuck. Overall I think this is an excellent bag for school supplies! It fit everything my 5th grader needed, wasn’t too big and bulky but also wasn’t too small. It’s great quality and stylish. Much better quality and price than the school supply pouches at the grocery stores. I 100% recommend it and will update later in the school year if it doesn’t hold up well.

Quick Take: This pouch easily fits all my daughters pens, highlighters, and extras like sticky notes and scissors without feeling cramped. One Thing to Note: When completely full, it doesn’t stand upright and takes a bit more space in a backpack. When the bottom zipper is open to expand the lower compartment it holds a small collection of charcoals, two small cloths, some blending sticks, a couple of erasers, a bottle of ink, a roll of tape, a pair of scissors, a tall Tomboy pen, and a Blackwing pencil sharpener. Above that lower compartment the pen holder can hold five pens pens or four pens and two pencils sharing a space. In the zippered compartment inside the top of the case there is room for two quill pens, 3 nibs, two charcoal pencils, a small utility blade, and some rubber bands with room to spare. There is also a nice outer pocket that will hold a small phone or a glasses case. Quite compact considering what it holds. It seems well made and the price was less than $20.

I really liked the color and it fits a decent amount of things. The only downside is that I use a large calculator and that takes up a lot of space in this holder. Furthermore it got dirty pretty quick and I know it’s lighter colored but I was a bit disappointed with that.

Perfect size and storage compartments. Very durable material. Can zip to keep compact or unzip to expand into a deeper style pencil case (my photo shows it unzipped full size). I love the inside mesh pocket, and the divider is great with the elastic bands to keep essentials easy to grab without digging through the deeper section. Perfect size for work or school. I work outside so this will be great to keep my stuff dry and clean. Pretty darker gray color looks nice! Can be used to store whatever you need, versatile, not just for pens. I recommend!

I've had this pencil pouch for about 2 years now and it has held up really well. There are no tears or zipper issues. It definitely holds a lot and very nice.
