Outlast All-Day Lip Color Custom Nudes, Light Cool

03/18/23 - Just got this today and I love it! I want try more colors and get more of this specific one! I am very pale, the fairest person I know. I burn easily, have freckles and hazel eyes. It has been difficult to find nude lipstick that does not make me look washed out or appears too orange or dark on my cool toned skin. I have a heart condition that causes my lips to be white or blue. This causes me to look ill and prompts unsolicited questions. Light Cool - 900 makes me feel sophisticated and confident. This color, Light Cool - 900, is hands down the best nude I have ever tried. It truly is "nude" and it is the color of my natural lips at their best. I feel very lady-like with this color, it makes me feel more put together, and healthier looking. It is a quite light pink. I can see myself using another color, in this same collection, called Blushed Mauve - 550 to deepen the color or create a subtle ombre effect. I'll take a picture of my lips when I'm all done up. I tend to lean to more natural makeup looks and this color fits the bill perfectly. Regarding longevity, this lipstick is amazing! It does feel drying when initially applied however the included balm changes it to something very comfortable. Usually I'm a Carmex only girl and this does not irritate my lips or feel like the Sahara. Picture taken in natural light. Left, Light Cool and right, Blushed Mauve. Both are subtle colors.

I love this product. I just wish it would last 24 hours. I love the color and how it goes on.

This item is so beautiful with a darker liner blended ,, it’s stays all day and definitely overnight and when you eat and kiss .. for a longer last just don’t add the gloss and your color will stay twice as long

This is the second one I have ordered. It does stay on most of the day. However it does feel drying so the lip gloss does help with that. However I’m not happy with the shade I selected. It is way too light for my complexion. Unfortunately this item is not eligible for returning.

LOVE this shade! I’ve been looking everywhere since high school to find something that matches my lip and skin tone this well. (I’m quite pale with a cool pink undertone) It does last all day like it says!

I have tried nearly every “long wearing” lipstick there is on the market, from drugstore to high end. None can compete with Covergirl Outlast when it comes to longevity. I will put a basic color like this one on and let it dry, then I will use a regular lipstick on top for the look I want. However I am safe in the knowledge that when the basic lipstick wears off, my Outlast is still there and so I just top it off with a bit of gloss and I am ready to go on with my day. Outlast will wear from morning until I take it off and if I don’t (tried once for a test and it was a red shade), it was still there the next morning. A bit faded and a bit dry, but I still had color after 24hrs. It lives up to its name and nothing compares to it. Nothing.

I chose the Light Cool tone and it definitely matches me, but I was hoping that my lips would be a more brighter, healthier color. The lipstick color doesn't look at all the color in the picture at all. I'm hesitant to try the medium cool since it looks way too dark in the picture, but it might work better. I love that they're catering to skin color tones, because that alone can help you find a lipstick that suits you way faster... but yeah, this was way to pale for my liking. I want a nude shade, but a little pinker and darker. But the lipstick itself seems to hold well, and the second tube top coat is awesome and gives you a shine and makes it so it doesn't dry your lips like 99% of the other stay ons I've tried. So, my main issue is the shade, but the lipstick itself does amazing.
