Finally able to digitise old DVR tapes!!
I got this cable as I ordered one from another company on Amazon and it was faulty, so my DVR couldn’t connect to my PC. This cable is great, worked right away. It looks sleek and goes nicely with my PC set up. It also feels sturdy and is a really good value for money - especially for a 2m cable!! I hope it will continue to work well.

Worked To Digitise MiniDV
I had this cable as part of a daisy chain setup, camcorder -> firewire cable -> firewire to TB2 -> TB2 to TB3 -> Macbook M1 Pro and it worked perfectly. (For reference the firewire to TB2 and the TB2 to TB3 adapters were both the official Apple ones) Digitised all my MiniDV tapes successfully, and this cable was excellent.

Cable does the job - helped me to capture old dv tape footage which was a bonus
Rhinocables came through for me on this one - after an awful "Pay shipping to return our crap product" response on the last order. I gave them another chance and this cable worked fine for me - attached 4 pin firewire to big fat box firewire like a champ

Data transfer variance just 8% thus excellent.
There are just 3 brands of computer cable I would consider. Rhino cables are one of them. What I like the most of Rhino is their data transfer rates are within 8% of claims. Not all cables perform in my experience. Rhino are fairly robust and secure in fitting. Keenly priced from this supplier too.

Worked perfectly
This cable was perfect to connect my camcorder to my MacBook so I could transfer old video from some DV cassettes. I was worried about it being tight after reading other reviews, but it was a perfect fit. It is a snug fit, but as long as your firm but gentle it is possible to plug in without any problems.

Not full 3m
It measured 2.8m rather than 3m and sadly in our situation it made it just a little too short for our needs. Going to keep it however as it was inexpensive and we can probably use it in another situation.

Not a lot to say. Inexpensive for this cable type but well-constructed and worked perfectly. Good value.
