Böhmer-AG WX5000K-e Portable Petrol Generator

it is working very well its not as noisy as the other I have which is much smaller I am pleased so far . it does lack the final bit of quality to make it a 5 star but for the price I have to give it . ps I have now been using this for a while and i do like it but as i said before its lacking the final quality . for example the patrol gage can leak if you go down hill and the petrol cap does not tighten very well and not air tight . also the petrol line from the on off valve is not the tightist and could use a different clamp. now thats been said non of these things effect the running of it and it runs very well indeed . Its not bad on fuel consumtion either . It makes a lot less sound then my small lighter Gen and in all i still think its worth a 5 star purley because of the price and performance . I drove thid in my pickup to my off grid home in Spain , where Generator of this size and output costs over double the price . PPS I have been running this for 3 years . With heavy usage in parts of the day with prolong periods of time . Its done well . I have had to replace the Battery , fual pipe twice , pull cord . I have a problem with the spark plug cabele and spark plug at the momment and have been serching for parts . Which is why I was taking a look on here again , so I thought I would update my review. I still like this although its quality is not yop notch its price is very very good . I also will say I have a problem with the choke not resetting after a strong load . Also make sure you keep the oil filled or it will cut off . 😉

Great bit of kit and delivered 2 days ahead of schedule fantastic, easy to assemble wheels and handles was slightly different to that picture where it shows 2 13amp sockets this one came with 1 x 13 amp and one blue commando 16amp socket, which is fine by me and a little bonus was they supplied a 13amp plug top and a blue commando plug too Just remember that the power this will give you comes with a cost, its a solid piece of kit at 90kg, but the wheel assembly makes it maneuverable Very Happy

All good but dont rely on the rubber pads/feet

Really happy with this for the price Always had pull start, this is so much easier Used a 3000w vacuum all day, never missed a beat Its had a few people comment, thats a nice piece of kit, everybody thought it would have been alot more expensive than it was Would definitely recommend

Very happy with this generator, although instructions were poor. Worked out assembly using my own logic. Started up first time and runs very well. One thing though, you will need to put oil in the sump before starting up or you will damage the engine. This generator will power my Karcher K5 2kw pressure washer and my 2.2 kw compressor at the same time and considering they are both inductive loads, brilliant. Construction is good enough but not exceptional and considering the price I cant complain. It's very heavy and a bit of a struggle to move about specially on bumpy ground. Weighs in at about 90kg or about 200lbs in old money. All in all a good investment.

This generator was purchased based on the Amazon site description as I was looking for. 7.5kW max output (5kW constant) power supply to run my catering trailer. On Arrival after unpacking the item and assembling it. There were numerous contradictions regarding the max output capacity. Amazon states 7.5kW /5kW constant The directions for use state 3kW max/ 5kW constant The generator itself is labelled as 5.5kW max/ 5kW constant. Upon test running the generator it was clear that it did not meet my specified requirements for output. I requested to return the item and have had to pay for return postage myself. Costing nearly £90. I was disappointed that I have had to pay for return as the item received was not the specs I had ordered. Also assembly instructions were not at all clear. With very poor diagrams.

It's a heavy piece of kit, so it is important to get the wheels on it asap. Impressive looking, apparently well-made and I am pleased with it for the price. Instruction manual is rudimentary and not much use. However operation is simple. Assembly is simple, wheels and axle fastened with brackets to underside. Note: check tightness of oil cap before assembly, you need to turn the machine upside-down to get the wheels and rubber feet on it. I managed to spill some oil. I haven't used it in earnest yet, so have so far only given it 4 stars. Very pleased to have it.

Union Mart sell faulty goods, valve failure after 1 hour, refused to refund, refused to collect. Want me to pay £117 to send it to them for a repiar after using it for 1 hour. Ive had it since March 2020 yes, but ive used it for 1 hour and got it out to use the other day and it wont stay running, Union mart said its fulty valves and want me to return it to them at a cost of £117 postage and thats before packaging cost. so ive got to lumber around an 90KG generator and pay £117 to send it to them after paying £500 to buy the heap of rubbish, It should be lasting 6 years really or at least 3, valves should last 2 to 3 years, NOT 1 hour, Union mart, you are an absolute joke, terrible customer service, complete robbery to say the least, I have read others have been sent refurbished ones that you sell as new, you should be stopped, its not fair play this.

Me llego antes de lo esperado y todo OK su envoltorio y el generador en perfecto estado el manual viene en español eso siel motor antes de su puesta en marcha hay que llenar de aceite tiene mucha potencia os lo recomiendo 100%×100%

Das Gerät hat 3polige UK-Steckdosen, diese sind auf 13A/2900W limitiert. Übliche Stecker und Adapter UK auf Schuko haben Sicherungen mit 13A eingebaut. An den Steckdosen dieses Stromerzeugers können daher nur Geräte bis 2900W angeschlossen werden. Der Hersteller existiert laut Google nicht. Der Händler ist wahrscheinlich eine Briefkastenfirma, die Stammfirma sitzt in UK. Wegen Brexit und Mangel an einer Deutschen Niederlassung ist die Durchsetzung von Garantie- und Gewährleistungsansprüchen unmöglich, daher Finger weg von dieser Mogelpackung! Als mir nach der Bestellung die o.g. Punkte klar wurden, habe ich storniert.

Va genial. Le pongo una radial grande que consume 3000w y la máquina de soldar a tope y ni se entera, y el consumo tampoco es nada del otro mundo teniendo en cuenta la potencia del motor. Eso sí, los enchufes del chasis te los mandan en versión UK así que tienes que pedirles que te lo manden en EU.

Un poco ruidoso pero funciona muy bien

Lo compré para mi padre y está super feliz, lo montamos entre los dos y lo pusimos a prueba quitando los plomos de la casa como él me indicó. Fue divertido estrenarlo.
