This is great for making delicious smoothies, I was torn between a blender and a juicer but this is perfect. It blends really well, it is easy to use, and there are no mess or leaks, it's quite quiet too! The size of the jug is bigger than I thought too, it's easy to attach and remove, and easy to clean!

I had a much cheaper blender from Amazon which broke in a year (and I'd only used it a few times). I don't do much blending (apart from the odd frozen berry smoothie) so I was shocked when it broke. I was going to buy another cheap one because as mentioned it's not a frequently used item in my house. But I decided to spend a little more and get this one and it was so worth it. A classic case of you get what you pay for. The blades are much better, the way the base attaches to the base of the jug is so much easier and sturdier, it's quieter, I love everything about it. Very happy I decided to spend a little extra! My only gripe (which is not worth removing a star for) is that everything but the blades and rubber seal (and obviously the base with the twisty knob on it) can go in the dishwasher. I am lazy and don't want to hand wash anything but in reality, it's actually very quick and easy to do. But if I had any feedback, I'd like the whole thing to be dishwasher friendly.

Very poor quality. The plastic base broke in less than a year of normal use. The part that should be perfectly rounded has cracked and deformed, making the blender unsafe and unusable. This is especially disappointing because I previously owned the version with the plastic jar, and that one also broke in about a year. Two different models, same issue. For the price, this level of durability is unacceptable. I would not recommend this product and would not buy from this brand again.

I've had this for 6 years now. It is still going strong. Easy to clean and powerful enough for everything we need to do. The glass jug is fantastic. I wouldn't buy a plastic blender after using this.
