Amazing Taste - Lively and Refreshing
I first had Q Club Soda several months ago when I found it at my local "gourmet" grocery store. It had been a while since I had had any club soda, probably years. I had been thirsty all day, and I thought this would quench my thirst. Well that it certainly did - and more; I just cannot believe how good this club soda is each time I take a drink. I am not sure exactly what it is that makes it so good. Maybe it is that pinch of Himalayan salt they put in each bottle, or maybe they fill each bottle with as much carbonation as it can theoretically hold. Whatever the reason, this beverage is good - I mean really good. It has become my beverage of choice all day long (except in the morning when I revert to coffee). This is one smooth club soda. It is so refreshing. So I got to thinking - other than the pinch of Himalayan salt, I really did not know the first thing about club soda. Therefore, I did a little research. Here is what I found out: Club soda goes by many names. But mainly, it is merely carbonated water, also referred to as sparkling water or seltzer water. However, believe me when I state that Q Club Soda is not just "merely" carbonated water. I have been drinking a lot of club soda over the years, just by different names. All this carbonated water is simply a concoction of carbon dioxide and water. How simple is that. This Q Club Soda is unique because of its maximum carbonation and that wonderful pinch of salt. I am assuming that this Q Club Soda is so good because of the extra fizz and the salt from the region from whence the Yangtze flows. Either way, I certainly would not want my Q Club Soda to be used for stain remover when spills occur on clothes. That would be a waste. I would use my Q Club Soda to relieve an upset stomach, with a touch of bitters. Therefore, if you try Q Club Soda, I hope you like it.

Should satisfy Blenheim drinkers (as an occasional change)
Most ginger ales (and beers) disappoint. They're simply bland and wimpy, with a taste that merely "implies" the pleasures of the "hot and kicking" genuine article. If you're experienced in the latter, no doubt you've discovered Blenheim Ginger Ale (now available in two varieties: "Hot" and "Not As Hot").For any number of reasons you may hanker for an occasional change-up--but not something as innocuous as, say, Canada Dry or Schweppes. As an alternative ginger ale, Q-Ginger should fill the bill. It's more spritely and crisp than Blenheim and, though it doesn't have a "kick," it immediately greets the front of the tongue with a sharp, little bite (reminding me of my pet guinea pig, momentarily mistaking a finger for a carrot). Blenheim is admittedly hotter, "deeper," and even more lasting in its effect; Q-Ginger, instead, offers greater versatilty and more immediate gratification. Not all of the flavor is due to the ginger. G-Ging is made up of several exotic spices (Rose Oil, Cardamom, Cayenne, Orange Peel, etc.) and unconventional "natural" sweeteners (viz. Agave). Best of all, it's less sweet and has fewer calories than Blenheim, and for many of us weight-conscious imbibers, the 8 ounces is more welcome as a refresher than the bigger 12-oz. bottle from Blenheim. (Am I the only surviving American who remembers when Coke came in those awesome 6 oz. bottles for a nickel?)Q-Ginger is a drink that goes with anything at any time of the day. Blenheim Ginger Ale is a drink I save for those special occasions--either for celebrating accomplishments or erasing sorrows. When priced at around 2 dollars-per bottle (it's recently gone up), it's easy to rationalize purchase.

It is simply ADDICTIVE!!
They really should put a warning there on the bottle: Addictive, for adults only. I have been trying many ginger ale, including some made in overseas, by comparing with this Q-Ginger, they are all pale in comparison. The main problem with most ginger ales, especially gourmet ones, are that they all continue very high amount of sugar to the point that it is no different than drinking syrup. Since I am pre-diabetic, therefore I have to be careful with my sugar intake. Q-Ginger, on the other hand, was made of organic agave. Now of course, large consumption of agave which contains primarily fructose is still not good for the body, but in moderate amount, it is much better than all these other ginger ale that contain large quantity of sugar (sucrose). Q-Ginger is so gingery, if you cannot stand taste of fresh ginger, do not try this product, you simply would not like it. However, ginger is really good for vertigo and headaches, therefore when you have either one, it will definitely refresh you by drinking a bottle of it. Now the sad part is that it is no cheap and the only other store I know that you may be able to grab some will be TJ Maxx (Marshalls or Homegoods) and Wholefood. If you order a whole case, wholefood will give you a ten percent discount but you have to pay sales taxes. Here at Amazon.com, I order them with subscribe and save (with 5 items) and I get a 15% discount, probably the cheapest. I once tried to save some money, and tried some diet Canada Dry ginger ale which tasted so bad, you may as well throw it down the drain. You should try it and judge the Q-Ginger yourself. I did.
