great to magnetize screw driver to get screws to hold to screw driver. a must have for any tool box or junk drawer get a couple and keep them around.

The magnetizer/demagnetizer works as advertised. The magnetism is not as robust as I had hoped. Nevertheless it did enable my screwdriver to hold the small screw to pull it out when I unscrewed it and held it so that I could get it started when reinstalling. The screw had to be inserted into a narrow sleeve. I have arthritis in my hands and fingers and have lost a good bit of my dexterity so it would be, almost impossible for me to do without the assistance of a magnetized screwdriver.I don't know how well it will work with larger screws and bolts. But it is the tiny ones that are the most difficult.I am glad that I made this purchase.

Magnetizes my tools very quickly and last for a long time perfect addition to my tools

Tried 3 times to magnetize a screwdriver bit for my impact wrench. Did nothing as far as I can tell. Watch a video or two incase I was being an idiot, nope, just doesnt work. I expect it is just not powerful enough magnets. Would return but lost the packaging etc.

Liked the value ,ease of use, convenient carabineer. Demagnetizer does not work well after magnetizing screwdriver... Even after passing it through a few times to demagnetize. Disappointed

It does lightly magnetize screws and screwdrivers. It is weak. The demagnetizer doesn't work at all. It is not worth your money. I ended up buying a Klein magnetizer/demagnetizer and it is fantastic. Save a few more dollars and buy a good product.
