I have tried every type of doggie diaper for my pug when she is in heat and this is the ONLY one that stays on. The tail hold is key, since it has that foam around it, it keeps the tail in place. I search high and low for this brand and at my local pet store, they are always out of them. The cashier told me they can’t keep them on the shelf. Make sure you have the correct size. These are well worth the $$!

If you have a pup that is either incontinent, in heat, or with a UTI, for whatever reason you need these, they work. I have a 45 lbs border collie mix, about medium size dog, and had a hard time finding the right diapers during her heat which developed her a UTI. The tail hole is great, as you can adjust it if needed (my dog’s tail is pretty thick and full), and the tape that holds it up can be readjusted, so if you take your pup out and then need to put a clean diaper back on, you can. Other brands did not allow for re-sticking, which meant you also could not readjust it to fit.This can. And it works. These doggie diapers absorb a lot and no leaks.Not sure about #2. She did not have diarrhea or anything, luckily. But I would think with supervision, they’d work too, as the tail hole is small and can contain a lot, I imagine.

Our sweet girl lived the last year and a half of her life with severe diabetes. Until that diagnosis, she had a bladder of steel and never would have willingly had an accident in the house. What a proud old pup! She never could learn to use a pee pad, because it’s indoors and we do not pee indoors. With the diabetes, and especially during her relatively frequent UTIs while diabetic, she lost control of her bladder and it made her panicky. These diapers allowed her to live the last year and a half of her 13.5 years in comfort and ease, knowing that it was “ok” to go when she needed. It gave us comfort knowing that, when she leaked as she slept, both she and our home would remain dry. We come up with a set of straps tied to her harness to keep her from wiggling out of the diapers.We would have done absolutely anything for our girl. This was the easy part.

I have a Papillion so he has a lot of fur. His tail did not fit through the hole so I had to make it bigger (used scissors). That helped some. I switched it to a side wrap instead and that is working. The diapers hold a lot of urine and they don't smell.
