no issues using it on a sata III system. I see no faults or data loss when using this cable. I have these paired with a samsung SSD and 4 Western Digital Red drives and I've had no issues. For the price these are a good value.**UPDATE**I just figured I'd give a quick update on how these are working, in short excellent... I just bought another 6 for use in a home theater I am building for a friend, once again, 0 DOA, great transfer speeds and no connector issues... In this build they are connecting an LG Blu-ray, SSD, and 4 WD Red 3TB Drives with excellent results. While there may be cheaper options out there these cables are very high quality and have excellent transfer rates, they actually do seem to give higher transfer rates than the "stock" sata III cables included with the devices... I stand by my 5 star rating**I gave this item 5 stars due to having no issues with the cables so far and for having 0 DOA out of the many I have ordered.

I bought three of them to use in my Asus motherboard which has a Crucial SSD, a WD 500GB hard drive and a Asus DVD/RW drive attached. Initially I had doubts about the cables without any locking mechanism, but actually they worked perfectly. They fitted snugly to the motherboard as well as to drives. I didn't notice any loose connections at all. Removing them also very easy as there is no lock to fiddle with. They have been sleeved very nicely too so that you can have a great looking rig.

Very nice quality cable that worked just fine, how much can you really say about a cable? There is one very minor complaint, the right angle end could have been a little slimmer, it touches the side cover of my computer. Isn't the whole idea behind a right angle cable is to fit in tight spaces? Not a big deal, but could be for some applications.

I used this cable with a brand new Samsung EVO 250gb SSD. The performance of the drive is legendary and I paired with with this premium cable.We are talking about a component that is only a few dollars. But you might as well spurge and spend a few dollars for a premium clean data transfer cable.The sleeved cable is nice and also aids in protecting the cable and also distinguishes it from other cables you may have in the system.The connect is simple plastic, no locking mechanism but it goes in tell and tight. Not a fan of the 90 degree L connector shape though.Overall a simple product, but superior. I am enjoying Silvestone's products as I also purchased their noise dampening foam.

These fit very loosely on my HDD and occasionally "lose" the connection which requires opening my desktop system and pushing the connector on again. they look great....just don't work well. Had to replace them with better locking connectors.

I bought a bunch of these a year and a half ago on Amazon. I really liked the latch-less feature and was willing to spend 3X the normal cost of a SATA cable thinking I was getting the best. However, in the last week I have had two of the cables fail. The first one was an intermittent failure on the boot SSD drive which almost drove me nuts since I've never had a SATA cable go bad. The last thing I got around to replacing was the SATA cable! The second one just stopped working, that was easy to fix. I sent Silverstone an email and ask them if they had any idea on what could cause the failures, the responded I got was, too bad the warranty on these cable is only for one year! Guess what, Silverstone will not sell me another cable and I question whether it is a good idea to buy anything else from them since their customer service is somewhat lacking.

Great sleeved cables!I brought 5 but 1 of the cable gave me UltraDMA CRC errors and my hard drive disconnect randomly after installing the new cable. The problem went away after I try another cable.This is my first time having this problem with a SATA cable, not even with other cheap $1 cables. I guess there is a first for everything. These cables are great as long as they work.

The Silverstone Tek 90 Degree SATA III Cable with Non-Scratch Locking Mechanism is a good, inexpensive SATA Cable. The cable is seems better built than the stock cables that came with my Dell XPS 8700. It's a little still, but still flexible. The connectors lock and are removed easily. The cables are SATA III compliant, and my drives run at their full speed. There's not much else to say other than they're very good cables for the price.

Si buscas un cable para conectar tus dispositivos internos de tu torre este podría serte muy úitil, funciona correctamente y es bastante flexible.

Ho comprato questo cavo in alternativa al BitFenix perché mi serviva l'angolo a 90°. Come qualità della guaina sleeve non è a livello dei BitFenix. La guaina in questo caso è in plastica non in tessuto.A livello funzionale è ottimo, svolge bene il suo lavoro e i connettori con le clip in metallo sono ben fatti.

ネットでこのケーブルの紹介があり、購入してみたのだがマザボ付属ケーブルと交換する価値は有り。効果は絶大と言う訳ではないが、音の上下の伸び、クリアさや力感が改善される。いわゆる、スッキリして音の質感が良くなった感じ。「オーディオ用」と言われる○○高いもの買うより、こっちの方がかなりの高コスパ。安価にPCオーディオやられてる方にはオススメ。

non entrero in dettagli tecnici e impressioni soggetive sul cavo del tutto opinabili . posso dirvi che il cavo svolge egregiamente il suo compito e schermato ha una bella guaina esterna di buona costruzione ad un prezzo non regalato ma onesto per la qualità sia dei materiali usati ben assemblato per durare non particolarmente rigido .sicuramente meglio di quelli che trovate nei bundle delle schede madri se avete un computer di buon livello vale la pena acquistarli
