Before I got this Curl cream, I had the Nexxus gel-cream hybrid and honestly it didn't work for me at all, my hair was just a mess. I decided to go ahead and get this Curl Cream because Shea Moisture, at least for me, works the best. The smell is nice, I know some people might not like it, but it's a very Hibiscus scent with a faint hint of butter and coconut, when you put the cream in your hair though the scent mostly becomes coconut and butter and some Hibiscus scent. It really helps define your curl/waves and I love that you get a tub and only need a bit (depending on your hair). I'm glad that I finally found products that work for my hair and also leaves my hair feeling soft.

I’ve used this brand before and really like them! Quality products that don’t break the bank. I’m new to caring for my curly hair after straightening for years, so this is the first curl cream I’ve tried. It’s thick, smells nice (though I’d prefer no fragrance personally), and definitely emphasizes and defines the curls! Once I put a little too much in and my hair was definitely a bit crunchy. I imagine the needed amount will vary person to person. It definitely does moisturize too.All in all, I’m very pleased! Would recommend, especially a somewhat cleaner product than others on the market.

I had pin straight hair as a child that wouldn't hold a curl even with half a bottle of hairspray. It has gotten more curly as I've gotten older, now at 35, my mom just asked me if I got a perm. I am trying to figure out what products to use now to maintain the unruly curls, minimize frizz, add moisture, etc and so far this has been one of my favorites. It's not heavy, it doesn't seem to weigh my hair down or make it firm like gel. I don't need much for my hair so one jar lasts me a while, quite a fair price in my opinion. Been using this for a bit over a week now and it’s been great on my hair. I got mine permed and was told by my barber to use this on my hair and some blow drying stuff too but it’s made my hair clean, smooth, and not frizzy/tangled! It’s also a big container and per the instructions, you don’t need too much at each use so that’s great too for its value overall. Highly recommend.

I wanted to love this. I really did. It smells and feels amazing and I know a lot of people swear by it- but for my curly hair, it made my hair feel grimy, like I hadn't washed it in many days. I applied as directed to wet hair, and after my hair dried, it didn't curl right, felt weighted down and just dirty somehow. I gave it a second chance to see if I applied it wrong, and had the same result. I don't believe at all it had anything to do with the product, it just want right for me.

I can always rely on this curling cream to give me the best curls whenever on the go. Works very quick and easy to use. Gives your hair that wet shiny look. Container is a decent size and can easily be taken anywhere.
