Arrived as specified and it works perfectly, a great item at a fantastic price. A great extension to the limited ports found on modern laptops. It is indeed very slim , not much wider than a USB plug, remember this is sold only as a 4-way USB A hub, so don't expect to see any other ports. With it's USB 3.0 ports data transfer is fast.

So I ran out of USB A ports on my laptop a while ago and finally got fed up of swapping different chargers and devices in and out and decided to splash out on a 4 way hub. I was looking for an Anker hub as I know they're a good brand and this one was only £1 more than the unbranded hub that was the next best. Anyway it's as expected, all the sockets work properly and it has a 60 cm cable so I can take it around to the other side of my laptop if I want to. I'd recommend this hub and Anker devices to anybody.

Anker doesn't disappoint with its products; the hub delivers on its promises.

I have a few of the USB A cable version, and they are great. I have a new laptop which mainly has USB C sockets, and this version with a USB C cable is just as good. All the ports on this are USB A. I like the sturdy lightweight plastic design; it doesn't feel cheap. Be aware that it doesn't pass a lot of power. Ok for usb sticks, usb ssd drives (it will transfer files fast), plus wireless mouse dongles, usb mouse and keyboard, logitech clicker, etc. But it won't power an external spinning hard drive. I think the total max current it can pass is 0.9 amp, so keep that in mind.
