An amazing approach of leading without a title.
In this contemporary world, the word leadership is often misunderstood by a large number of people. We often consider leadership to be something related to the way of propagating an agenda or something which is associated to the highest position of a country or topmost post in a company. We didn't even try to understand the basic idea behind the formation of this very word because this is what we have been taught till now and we did care to know more about that. In his book 'The leader who had no title' Robin Sharma has tried to change our commonly-followed belief and help us go through this newly-found concept through a meticulously written story. Blake Davis, the man who bravely fought in the iraq war has now stumbled in the aftermaths of the war. After serving in the American army for a seemingly long period of time, returning back to his normal life has become a very stressful taak to cope up with. It was getting tough to fight the nightmares of the war which continue to haunt him regularly. Amidst all these confusions and turmoil, he met a man of his father's age while working in a prominent book store in New York. The man called as Tommy turned out to be his guardian angel who helped him in breaking down the wall of disappointments and building a monument of abundance success and happiness. Tommy introduced Blake to the four teachers who taught the greatest lessons of life through a intricately drawn blueprint, which ended up to be the life-changing lesson for him. Through this fable, the author has stressed on the fact that you need no title to become a leader and how each of us have the potential to become the leader of our life. He draw our attention to the power of solitude and how we could prepare ourself for every day by waking up one hour early. Robin Sharma has penned down a very practical approach in helping us to lead in our lives. Also the use of acronyms has made it very easy to remember the four principles of the LWT philosophy. I very strongly recommend this book to every person out there who is serious about making realistic changes in his or her life.

A must read book by one of the best author.
This is an awesome book about leadership. It explains 3 important things. First true "Leadership" is not about any party, position or Post. It is about "taking decision and action". Second thing every person must take leadership of his life to make it worth and successful. Third thing is leadership is an life on going process. It is not a one day long process. Finally I think all of Robin Sharma's books should be a part of management course. I learned a lot by reading this book which helped to clear some doubts, fear and confusion in life and mind. Now I see my life and work in a different way. Thank you Robin Sharma for writing so meaningful book. One more thing I found his books very affordable mean most of the foreign writer's books cost around or above 1K where as his books cost less than 300. So, anyone can read his book and everyone can make a his life more meaningful.

A good self help book for people who have low self esteem
Beautifully explained the importance of self worth and nothing lies in a title. In today’s world of rat race it’s become imperative to take a pause and reflect on your worth without comparing yourself with anybody else on earth. Everyone has their unique journey and this book helps to bring out the best in you, provided you just don’t read for the sake of reading and actually take actions. I will definitely recommend this book.

‘The special dish you cooked for me two days ago was so nice. Can you prepare the same for me today ...
There is a common joke shared in the place where I come from. A husband once calls his wife and says, ‘The special dish you cooked for me two days ago was so nice. Can you prepare the same for me today too?’ The wife, angry with him for some reason, retorts, ‘Why make new? There are some leftovers from the same dish. Want to taste?’ This book of Robin Sharma tastes like those leftovers – stale and revolting. While revolting is a strong word to use against a book which contains appreciable wisdom, the verbose style of the book leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to inspiring the reader. If you have already read Robin Sharma, you can safely skip reading this book, for this book carries nothing new and everything that Robin Sharma has repeated in all his previous works. Having read almost a dozen books of Robin Sharma already, I picked up this book hoping to learn something new. But this book is nothing but old wine in new bottle, with a new label. As always, there is a person whose life is in doldrums, appearance of a magical mentor, his imparting leadership lessons which he himself gathered from some saintly beings and the ‘happily ever after’ finish. Not just the style. The words and ideas also repeat themselves to a monotonous extent. Robin Sharma, as is his wont, wants you to wake up early, to spend an hour planning for the day ahead, to treat your customers to a ‘wow’ experience, to build up people instead of putting them down, to go to the grave with a contented mind and so on. Add to that a sprinkling of quotes from the great people in history. Not inspiration but a sense of déjà vu was what pervaded my mind throughout the reading of this book. Also, this book could have been trimmed down to a total of hundred pages, in the styles of a Brian Tracy or Spencer Johnson. There are good lessons here and there but they are all drowned in the heap of ‘positive’ words that flood these pages. In fact, I feel that all the ideas that Robin Sharma has ever shared in his books could all be summarized into a page or two. I picked up hoping that the book will be great and truly inspiring in the lines of ‘The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari’ or ‘The Greatness Guide’. But I simply couldn’t wait to finish and keep the book away. Such a boring sermon! Either I have grown out of reading Robin Sharma or Robin Sharma has not grown out of ‘The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari’!
