It hurts a lot, but I think it is supposed to.

pretty great. solid. hollow in the inside. nice bumps. I can lie on it longitudinally on my back.

To be honest, some of the issues I have with this product could be user error and the fact that I'm not really a "fit" person. I've never used a deep tissue massage foam roller prior to receiving this product and wasn't really sure what I was in for. I followed the instructions...and it hurt. It didn't feel comfortable (or very massaging) and it was difficult for me to accomplish. Thinking I was misunderstanding the instructions, I then had my husband read instructions to me while I used the product...still not good for me. Then my husband tried while I read the instructions to him...he did not enjoy using it either. The foam roller seemed a little harder than I would have liked and I think with a little extra give, it could be easier to use and more comfortable.INITIALLY, I was going to give the product only three stars; however, one plus to the product is when I used it on my back, it popped my lower back (a difficult area for me to pop on my own) and it relieved some of the pain I was experiencing. I'm wondering if this would become easier and more comfortable for me to use with extended practice; however, due to how painful it is in some areas, I don't think I'll be using it frequently in any areas, besides my back!I think part of my negative viewpoint on this product could be that I'm just not the right target for this particular product as I'm not very physically fit and I don't practice any sports. I hate to give a product only three stars if the problem with the product is ME and not the product. Haha.
