Did the job when building my first pc when building on the motherboard

I am giving this product a 4/5 star rating purely because of the packaging and anti static grounder. The mat itself is folded and is creased down the middle. Hopefully it will come out with a few more uses. The grounder is unreliable and always comes out of the mat (may be how I installed it tho) overall this is a great budget mat

The mat arrived folded twice, into quarters, such that the crease from the first fold was so severe that the mat cracked. The metal spur that is supposed to connect the grounding wire to the mat is also broken, as it is made of very thin metal. (See photos.) I attempted to contact the company, but I received no reply. Also, the mat stinks -- after over a week, it still makes my entire office smell of rubber. The wrist strap is OK, and the mat does help to prevent scratches on my desk and (presumably) to reduce static discharges between myself and the device I'm working on.

its cheep and it works but...The clip on the wrist strap is not very good both ends come loose frequently both pinging off the grounded surface and coming loose on your wrist. Its not impossible to work with just have to be mindful it will come of if gently tugged.the grounding yellow bit is almost usless as it is supposed to sit on your grounded contact in the same way the clip on the blue cable is. it weighs about 2grams so will fall of unless you can jam it into a air vent or similer.

I’d score this a zero if possible. The mat is thick but it’s shipped folded, creased down the middle and because it’s so thick makes it impossible to use.

The Matt does exactly what is states.Comes with ESD straps.Only issue is the Matt comes folded in the post which causes it to be creased but still can be used.
