At first I did not think this was going to work with my Fujifilm X-T3 and was ready to return it. After I realized that my camera had the connection located above the memory card slot, which I had never noticed before it worked perfectly. The Fujifilm app was unreliable and would not stay connected and would not focus the camera. This works as I need it to. It will focus and take singe or continus pictures. Great device for the price. Have not tested the maximum distance from the camera.

Bad signal. Works well from 3 feet away but I stood 30 feet away and nothing.

Nice touch that the cable has a label to ensure the correct end is plugged into the camera. Also nice that the receiver has a power switch.Fuji users, please note that the connector on the camera is behind a rubber flap above the memory card door. People have incorrectly reported that this device doesn't work because they either plugged it into the wrong connector on the camera or connected by cable backwards.Definitely would buy again.

Great product!

Inexpensive alternative to Fuji’s wireless remote for much less money. Even so, this remote works perfectly with the fujifilm xt4. I can trigger the camera from beyond 33 ft on occasion. Never a miss fire yet. Does require a battery so keep in mind when sitting and wait for birds. Otherwise love it.

This remote works with or without batteries. let me explain. If you don't need to use the transmitter, the receiver can be used as a simple cable release without a battery, since it has a release button on top.Love it!

The release worked pretty well for a few weeks (used it once a week for maybe 3 months) and then it just gave up the ghost. Would swap the batteries and same thing: would start immediately recording when plugged in but the remote didn't do anything, or wouldn't do that and the remote only worked when RIGHT next to the trigger. Ah well.

I purchased this in about 8 months ago, and first used it about 2 weeks ago. I was approx 30' from camera, and it wouldn't fire the shutter. Today, I tried again, in studio shooting product. Since I needed to support part of the set, I hooked up the remote. From approx 10' away, indoors, zero obstructions, I had to lean towards camera for remote to release shutter. The batteries are brand new (after my first issue, I wanted to be sure it wasn't a battery issue)
