Good cable water proofing.
These should have come with predrilled holes for mounting. I mounted this for my solar wires to enter the roof of my RV. Used PVC to trans the metal of the roof. The gland was screwed down to the rubber roof using self leveling roof sealant. No leaks and the cables are well sealed. Should last a long time.

A little confusion in the description but the final product and customer service are excellent
The product wasn't quite as described; it was a two port device and the information said that for single port use, one port could be blocked with the included parts. That was not the case so I contacted the manufacturer via their website. Their response was immediate (a couple of minutes) and they promised a single port replacement no, charge. They also said I could keep the two port unit.The replacement had to be shipped from China and much to my surprise arrived in about nine days. I installed it yesterday and the quality is good.I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

6-12mm2 size fits 8AWG solar wire
Haven't installed on van roof yet but very satisfied so far. Sturdy plastic and came with a small tube of silicone RTV sealant, though I plan on using Dicor Lap sealant. Bought the 6 - 12 mm2 size for 8 AWG solar PV wire and it fits tight, but not much room to go tighter. 10 AWG might be cutting it close so if that's your case, you may opt for the 2-6 mm2 size (not certain about that though).
